Location: Outside on your boulevarde scaring small children. Um... or in Illinois.
There's also Professional mode. :) A LOT more difficult that the normal mode. It's almost pointless to kill most of the villagers (because they take such a huge amount of ammo to kill), but it's definitely a challenge.

Assignment Ada is difficult but it's actually very short. Those gatling gun guys are a pain in the butt. -_- I'm not sure how far you are so I'll keep my mouth shut. :)

As for mercenaries
*possible spoilers question*

Who have you unlocked so far? If you don't have the third level finished yet (it's the second to last one I did), the character you get is extremely helpful for taking out the "strong" enemies (the chainsaw guy, the blind guys, and the gatling gun guy). Too bad their weapon isn't great ;_;

Well, I started Assignment Ada and "Infiltrated" the place after the first minigun guy, but then I got bored cause I was playing Resi 4 all day already, so I switched to Mercs and Tryed all the levels with Leon, the only character I have so far, and the highest I got was 3 stars on the castle, until the Wolverines came for me.

Yeah, Mercs is rather difficult (actually found the village the most difficult, just because of the mass of chainsaw women that chase after you).

I beat in this order (I believe):

The 2nd level (forgot what it was)
The docks (the 4th I believe)
The castle
The village

I don't know if that really helps, but that's how I did it.

Unfortunately, I can't really give any helpful tips because all I really did was run and shoot and throw grenades with no real strategy. Though I know combos and the bonus are your friends.

See anthor great example on how GCN makes great games. I use to not like the RE at all(becides the movies) After playing this game I can see how GCN help to bring new life to such a poor game. I give it a 4 out of 5.
