The GBA obstacle could be easily overcome. There was that adapter made for the Gamecube that let you play them, why not have them playable on the Revolution (sans adapter)?

What are the current controller designs? I haven't seen them yet.

Well, they do need to keep up with each other; otherwise, they'd go bankrupt!

Lol  . Well you know what I mean. They wouldn't make as much money as they would if they released it around the same time as the others.

Microsoft actually lost money on every Xbox they sold. Their official response was that the console was just to get them into the consle market, to tempt people into buying Xbox360

Revolution will also have 4 slots so that Gamecube controllers can be plugged in

Yeah that's what I love about the gamecube - It's more fun when you invite 3 mates round ^^

I've got to agree with you =). There's so many great multiplayer games... like Mario Golf or Tennis or something... Mario Party too (not the board game, though--the minigames are really fun to play and they can be really funny and addicting!!).

Tell my why, say, Rare wouldn't want to earn a few more bucks by putting Goldeneye up for download? The game doesn't sell anymore, so no more money is being earned. Downloads can change that.

There are 2 gameboy adapters for gamecube.
Theres the Nintendo Gameboy Player, that sits under the console and you play your games into it.
Theres also an adaptor that plugs into the memory card slot which takes games.

I don't see why you couldn't plug the memory card adapter into the gamecube memory card slots on the revolution to play GBA games.

Microsoft has a tendancy to force or 'convince' certain third parties to sign agreements, forcing them to only develop or sell games for them. In exchange, they get cuts in development fees or something like that.

Well actually, Sony does it as well, but we're talking about Rare now. If Microsoft made them sign an agreement, barring them from selling games on other consoles, then it'll probably be up to Microsoft to decide whether or not Nintendo will be allowed to sell Rare games on the Revo'. And seeing as how Rare was the backbone of the N64, and was involved in countless SNES games, I don't see MS allowing Rare games to be downloaded on a rival console anytime soon.

Bottom Line: We don't know much. Geeze, how is this news. No developments have come up in months.

Expect more at the Tokyo Game Show.
