In My Opinion:



Ps2: Best Game-wise (Most games) Worst graphic-wise. Longest Load Times.

Xbox: Secondary game-wise, Secondary graphic-wise. shortish load times

Gamecube: Worst game-wise, Best graphic wise. No load times.

Yah, I agree. Even tho I only own a Gamecube, the selection for games is horrible. Sure we may have some good games SSBM, MKDD, MPP and some other ones, but there are so many better choices on the PS2.

You said it Codename!!! I could not agree more! I have a Gamecube and although the games we DO have are awesome, we just don't have as much variety as the other two consoles. I hope Nintendo realizes this.

The PSP is an amazing looking system, but there are two things that are keeping me from buying one.
1) The price of the system and the games. Too expensive for my liking.
2) The fact that I already own a DS.
I also prefer the DS games, I love Mario games and all those Advance Wars titles and such.

Okay now that is so untrue.

PS2: Most games, sells most games, most played online, 2nd best graphics, long load times.

XBOX: Many mature games, best graphics, fastest load times, best online features.

Gamecube: Plain worst in everything.

I based the systems on 3 things: load times, graphics, and games. You just based it on random things. Where's the mature games stat on PS2? Online features? Nope. Not on any other ones. And obviously, you are a hermit, and have never seen or played a gamecube. Ever looked at Resident Evil 4? It's one of the most graphically stunning games of 2005. And, while Xbox may have fast load times, Gamecube hasNO load times. Maybe you should try the competitors before you critisize them.

Just for fun I'll post my opinion of all three current systems:

PS2: Most games, worst graphics, long load times, second best online, 2nd heaviest (Worst games, In MY opinion)

XBOX: Second most games, best graphics, sort of long load times, best online, heaviest (Best games, In MY opinion)

Gamecube: Least amount of games, 2nd best graphics, no load times, worst online, not heavy at all (2nd Best games, In MY opinion)

Xbox: Good games, some games, Best graphics, Best online, Worst Controller, Tie Overall
Gamecube: Decent games, not alot of games, decent graphics, 2nd best controller, Tie Overall.

1st: PSP
2nd: DS
3rd: GBA
4th: N-Gage

Well I didn't post placing order but here:

Look. Although I'm a Nintendo Fanboy, here's my review of the 3 consoles.

PS2: Graphics are the worst out of the three, although it makes up for it with its games. It has the slowest processor although it has a wide variety of online games and it uses the online capabilities of the console well.

Xbox: The Xbox has the 2nd best graphics out of the three consoles, and it has a fast processor, which ultimately means quicker loading times, but they are still there. The controler is quite big and heavy, although the games are good. It has online capabilities and it uses this fact to the fullest, and it uses it well.

Gamecube: The Gamecube technically has the fastest processor and the best graphics, although the games developers don't use this to its fullest. Although it doesn't have a wide variety of games, quite a few of the games it does have are outstanding, although there are quite a few bad apples in there too. With only a handful of online games, and the rarity of the online adaptors, the Gamecube is the worst online, although since only a handful of games use the feature, it's no great loss. As mentioned before, the Gamecube has the fastest processor, and this means there are only a handful of games with loading times. It also has the advantage of the GC-GBA link and the Wavebird.

In my opinion I would have to say the order of consoles from Best-Worst is

1. Gamecube/PS2
3. Xbox

Now, can we please get back on topic?

I own the new nintendo system handheld DS, and i have seen the PSP and i still have to say the DS is still better. I can't inmagine getting a psp and they don't have any fun portable games out yet while DS had for me Mario 64x4 and Wario Ware. More to come also i know but i just wonder how anyone can pay 250 for a handheld game. !50 for the ds is reasonable for the type of game play you get.

There's a Mario 4x4 game? And, there have been 6 of them!? Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I don't like any of the games that have come out, or will be coming out for the DS, there are only a couple that I may like.

Well, that is just a matter of opinion. Personally, the DS lineup currently looks better to me than the Xbox and PS2 lineup combined. It is the greatest lineup I have ever seen.


Now, my opinion on the consoles. Well, I really don't need to tell you. Just look at my sig. But here's my analysis anyway.

PS2: 2nd best system. Long load time, bad graphics, HUGE library. It's decent but nothing special

Xbox: Best graphics. Nothing else is special about it. Xbox SUCKS

Gamecube: Easily the best system out there. Metroid Prime is just a wonder to behold. The games are just a notch above everybody else. It is just awesome.

But, let's stop talking about the consoles and start talking about PSP.

It all comes down to opoion i guess. I been bias to my nintendo for almost like 15+ years. I would not even own a ps2 if not for FFVII and up, lol. Only time can tell if PSP will beat out the DS. Nitendo pretty good at winning these kind of battle, or at least from what I saw on G4techtv's Icons

Hate to burst your bubble, but it is actually called Super Mario 64 DS. They got rid of the x4 part and added DS.
