I don't like how the DS looks but of course that is just a prototype so hopefully Nintendo makes it more stylish looking, but other then the look I think I would go with the DS just for the fact it will be cheaper, and so far will have a longer lasting battery compared to the PSP.
And im not sure about you guys but I don't think Sony has the most reliable hardware as demonstrated with the PlayStation2.
My mind could change though when the handhelds get released so I guess we will see

Same here. Remember, the DS will have *drumroll,please* 16 players on a wi-fi(wireless) base
Imagine the possibilities. Also, DS's touch and two screens are a revolution. The PSP is a PS2 on the go. As for playing music, that's been taken care of. With an invention called the....Portable CD player
