this is my list of the best 3 games ive ever played
bottom of the list at number three
>Clock Tower 3 (PS2)
very fun, and the undead really are undead, so guns and human weapons like that are pointless, as they should be, holy water and hiding in terror is the way to go
number two
>Kingdom Hearts (PS2)
this game made me very emotional, i cried because of they ending, im one of the few that like building gummi ships, the best way to learn about playing rpg's is to start off with this
and finally my most favorite ever
>American McGee's Alice (PC)
Lewis Carroll is my favorite writer and when i discovered this game, it became my number one obbession, it took many of Carroll's stories and characters, still true to form and yet twisted and scarey, and made an awesome plot with them, totally amazing game which does not seem to got the credit it deserves
well, thats my list, i would suggest those games to almost anyone
seeya later,

I don't know about Kingdom Hearts being underrated, at least on these forums.

Heh, yeah. PPT is full of KH supporters. But I can understand how someone could think it's overrated, as a lot of people don't give it a chance because it's Disney.
Another underrated game is Wacky Worlds for Sega Genesis. It's basically the Mario Paint of Sega, only not as cool. Which is why no one really likes it. But you could paint all these little figures and plop them into a world and then make music. There were different gloves so you could animate things, or blow them up. ^__^ I miss that game!

You create monsters and do courses with them (mini-game type courses) to save the Island of the Maboos from the Dark Evil. I know, it sounds childish but it's absolutely fabulous. There's a lot of items/accessories/paint patterns that you can get to improve your monsters, and then improve your scores in the mini-game type challenges to get more items. It's bright and colorful so it seems like it's for children, but some of the games are extremely hard. Overall, I think it's the most underrated GameCube game.
w00t! Someone else agrees!
I actually MADE Fishblade on there, you know it's cool!

:D:D
I have horrible coordination, so every time I try to draw my own monster, it comes out... well, very bad.

Oh well, practice makes perfect, I guess.

OMG! I was searching for that game on the internet to buy a month ago. I couldn't remember the name of it for the life of me. I always played that game on SEGA Channel. Awesome game.

I like it more than Mario Paint.
I like hanging out in this thread as I remember a ton of games that I had forgotten.

I'll give you a few examples: Unholy War, Hogs of War, Dark Cloud.
You've probably nevr heard of these games, but damn it, they're better than some of the supposedly top rated games.
Oh well, thats just me rambling on.
Thats pretty amazing though. Tum Fulp (dude who made Newgrounds) started off by printing comic type things in his basement. Then made a world popular website and now is making a PS2 and Gamecube game. Pretty good progress IMO

I'm really thinking about buying it, probably off ebay.
Tom Fulp didn't make the game, it was Synj I thought.

Or maybe thats the Dan Paladin guy.

alot of the games for the sega dreamcast are very underrated due to the fact that dreamcast is no longer popular
tech romancer, chuchu rocket, pso, crazy taxi, and jet grind radio are my favourites

Heh, I'm glad I refreshed your memory. Yeah, I like it more than Mario Paint just because it was for Sega...and I was such a little Sega kid. Plus Toejam and Earl are actually in it as stickers, which I thought was awesome. I would highly suggest getting that game off ebay or something. (Make sure to get the mouse with it to!)
Man, the crazy things I have done with that game.

I can't believe If forgot one of the most underrated games in existence! It's one of my favorites, EARTHBOUND! Forget swords and magic, that game has bats, frying pans, and psychic power! All to stop the alien force, Gigyas, from conquoring the world!

I have absuloutlly no clue how populere the Golden Sun games are...there good games though...what says you guys?
Mon Jan 10, 2005 1:59 am
They're great, but I think Earthbound is better. I dunno why, it might be the humor, the plot twists, or whatever. Golden sun was too short for my tastes, really.

Wait, guys, Earthbound owns all for the unique and creativity-ness. :)

Yay! I'm back.
I have to say it's true that most Dreamcast game were underrated. The best DC games I have played when I still had my roommate's DC were:
- Crazy Taxi 1 & 2
- ChuChu Rocket (most awesome when you have 3 other friends to play with)
- Powerstone 2
