I just bought it today, and I've been trying for 4 hours to get it to work, but I've had no success. That damn DirectX compatability driver error thing keeps showing up, and I can't fix it. :(

I just got my DVD copy of the game today - actually a little surprised, since I pre-ordered it off Amazon, and they said it would be here October 19-October 30, so I guess it's a bit ahead of schedule....

But I have two tests and a paper tomorrow and I can't play... can you feel my anguish? >_<

Oh you lucky people who have it. I want it so much, but I can't afford it, and I doubt very much my dad will buy it for me. I'll just have to earn some money somehow. o_O

I've been an avid sims player since it came out. :) I love the Sims 2 the best though. But I'm getting sick of the furniture already. I can't wait until we are able to make our own furniture.

There are two versions of the game, one on CD and one on DVD. They're pretty much the same, except the DVD is all one one disk while the CD requires several disks, and the DVD has some special features included with it (like videos, tips from the creator, etc.).

Uhh, you do realize that it's a PC game and that there won't be a console version, right?

Well, there MAY be a chance it goes onto gamecube... but i find that chance pretty slim, and even if it does... there's no way it's going to have the same caliber of amazingness as the PC version. This bad boy sucks up a lot of resources!
