Shadow the Hedgehog?

Hm, it looks like there's a new Sonic game on the way.

Personally, I think it looks horrible. It's like trying to make a popular game, but it's not even close. People look at successful games like Halo and GTA and think "Maybe we can make money if we slap a gun in our "baddest" character's hand!" =P

Meh...I don't like these new Sonic games. Call me old-fashioned if you will, but I prefered the Sega Genesis games. Sonic and Kunckles, Sonic 1, 2 and 3. I've heard of Shadow the Hedgehog, but I don't know who he is. I'm guessing he's the evil version of Sonic, right?

I'm not all that impressed. But new Sonic games haven't really ever interested me...All I remember is playing Sonic on Sega. I don't even remember the exact title of the game, it's been so long...but I guess I like the 'old school' Sonic.

well, if we want to be picky.
sonic died at the end of sonic and knuckles -if- you were able to unlock the doomsday zone (plug sonic 3 into sonic and knuckles, play through sonic 3 as sonic, collecting all the emeralds, THEN play through sonic and knuckles as sonic, collecting all the emeralds, finish the last boss within a certain time limit (i forget what, but fairly challenging) then you play the doomsday zone as super sonic)
after defeating robotniks uberific death machine-o-doom and its ample supply of high yield explosive, sonic falls to his death (your fighting in the lower atmosphere, just below the... heat shield)
sonic died a long time ago, just everyone forgot to tell him it seems.

I was thinking about the end of Sonic Adventure 2, after the Super Sonic battle. Shadow falls to his death after a brief flashback sequence involving Maria.

I'm personally hoping they don't screw this up as i really like shadow.... right there next to sonic and i would hate it if his name is placed on a pile of garbage.... then passed of as a game

...Shadow did fall to Mobius, yes.

But in the comic, they showed him hitting the ground (and making a crater), and then getting up and being angry. ^^

And I guess this shows exactly how popular Shadow became after SA2/SA2B. I know I wuv him. I wuv him lots.

I'm not interested in Sonic games anymore. I used to be, but the last 5 or so Sonic games just havn't impressed me, at all.

I basically agree with everyone else, but let's wait. Maybe Sega 'll catch on and try to fix what's been wrong with the last few games.

I got hooked to Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for the raising chaos feature. They're so cute! XD

Shadow always looked like a cheater to me. You could always see Sonic's legs running but Shadow had those funky shoes and he seemed to just glide over surfaces.
