everytime i try to motion blur it never has exactly the effect i want
the exact effect! it fades out on the side.. my motion blur always turns out so that i can c the text blurred out ,i want it like this pic
so how do i get this motion blur?! this exact one!

Make two identical text layers, rasterise the bottom one, then blur that bottom one.

Sorry, I locked your topic in haste; I've combined your new topic and last post.

Colour on the blur: Right click the blur (bottom) layer >> Blending Options >> Color Overlay >> set to the colour of your choice and set the blending mode to Color

Blend with the background: Either adjust the opacity of your (bottom) layer, or you'll have to figure out the distance to motion blur for yourself. A layer mask with a reflected black-white-black gradient also works.
