I recently got my account back, and I need to know a safe way for transferring (sp) some of my money (probably 1mil) and some items to this account.

Please and thanks. :)

The best way is to set up a trade, use a junk item and just bid everything on it, then go and accept the trade. :)

Another way is a neofriends only auction for a piece of wire or something, for 1mill, the bid on it with the money...

Thanks Rachel!

Trades. That's really the only completely safe way to do it. With auctions, there's still the very slim chance someone will overbid you.

If someone wants to overbid by OVER a mill on a piece of wire, I don't know whose gonna be complaining! *hugs*

Alright, alright. You win. :P

But I still say trades are the easiest.

I'd definitely say do trades, but I dont suggest transferring at all even though you kinda have too at times. I was frozen with Neo C and a few other people because Neo C had just transfered money with his shop and since Neo C's IP had logged into all the peoples accounts who were frozen at one time in another(transfering pets for us, ect...) and we were all doing tombola and stuff, him transferring NP made TNT think we were all the same person and were cheating... So the transferring NP by shop triggered the freezing...

(But it probably didnt look good that Neo C had millions of NP...)

Pretty much overstated but yes, trades are definitely the easiest.

You can also put something in the one shop for 99,999 and have the other account buy it--I transfer nps to my gallery that way. I urge you to do it slowly and don't use junk freebie items for the trades/auctions/buying--use something that someone might actually think of paying more for--I use chia plushies--they don't cost too much, but aren't freebies that could attract attention.

And, if you do a Neofriends only auction, no one but Neofriends can bid on it. Just make sure that you have no one on your Neofriends list that you don't personally know.

trades are NOT safe- i got frozen for transferring through them, they DO record them(and not just for account verification apparently)

i have no idea whats safe... ENT's paranoid right now, id lay low of at all possible.

I did that recently, but used the 'give this item to a neofriend' thing instead of trades or auctions. It was completely safe for me, but then I only transferred about 200k worth of stuff.
Transferring that much cash might be risky. You could try my method if you don't have that many items. Just avoid trades if possible as I've heard of many people who got frozen for transfering through them. Don't know about auctions though..

I had written to support asking about this very thing, how the "approved" way of transferring items/np from my main account to my gallery (for adding to the gallery/np for shop upgrades, etc.) and was told that yes, the trading post was fine. I have a trade of 10 balloons (chia, aisha, etc.) sitting on my gallery account so I can bid from my main - just enough np for 2 shop upgrades and a couple of gallery items. I just never use the tp on weekends.

I have heard of people being frozen for transferring via the tp or even using the send to neofriend when sending from one account to another. Usually it seems that the items were very expensive/rare and too many np were being transferred. First, you can't just send a million np to another account using the tp, 800k is the limit. Second, I've heard over and over again to only send small amounts of np, sending a large amount seems to trigger something. Same with using the send to neofriend an item worth more than, say, 200k (I send small -- under about 75k -- items to my gallery that way).

Also, if you're going to send things do it slowly, don't try to send like 20 items/100's of K worth of np in a day or so. I only send one or two small items over a week and only use the tp for np/larger item transfer maybe once a month. I'm not trying to be sneaky or "get over" the system, I just don't want to attract the wrong kind of attention for something that so many of us do (and need to do) that is NOT cheating.

Yes, the trading post, as well as auctions and even the send to nf are all logged (one of the things that drives me crazy when you lose something in a glitch and are told there's no way to prove you had the item because there's no record).

I know of many people who just put some cheaper items in their shop on the other account and overprice them, and buy them from their main account to fund the other account.

As far as using auctions, I'm not sure. That seems like it would send a red flag faster than the tp. Why? You're putting an item on auction, then bidding on it on the same IP, which is a definite no-no. Like, people sharing a computer (not accounts) bidding on the same item and all getting frozen for scamming.

The one thing to never, ever do is send np from another account to your main account. That will almost always get you frozen, same with sending items to your main account. How that's cheating if, say, you have 2 accounts and want to liquidate and close one of the accounts I don't know. If you're just sending np to your main to have more np or items to sell (like from a RE) you're setting yourself up.

And Morningstar is correct in not using Tombola things (or advent/any freebie) as the item for transferring no matter where - tp, shop, auction. I use things like the cheaper character balloons, etc. that I have had stashed in my gallery sdb forever.

It's all so frustrating. No one knows for sure what you really can and can't do without running the risk of a freezing for multi, scam, etc. even with emails from support.

yeah, neopets does look out for things like that, so if you do it by trades, dont transer all the np at the same time..... do it slowly... maybe do it over two trades a day for 3 days or something.....

If you're talking about transferring something in the realm of a million np, I'd take much longer than a few days and definitely wouldn't do more than one trade/buy from other shop per day. It may try your patience, but slow, smaller amounts spaced out I would think would cause less suspicion and attention. Just my opinion, I could be wrong (I often am)
