Ham okay, glad to see they put themselves in that category:

The Post Office, The Judicial System, and Neopets Inc. All integral parts of this country's enduring legacy!

Monday was an American national holiday... but aren't they still headquartered in the UK? Ah, well. So much for me sticking up for them. But, if I may be contrary for a moment, "updating content" does not neccesarily mean adding new content...

Actually they are headquartered in Glendale, California, USA, which is in Southern California in the LA area....

Looking to buy Snowbunny Stamp and Sticky Snowflake Stamp. If you're selling, please PM me!

On government holidays, malls aren't open. Why is everyone so hard on them. It was a freaking government holiday.

I spent 90% of my day yesterday at the mall. Anyways, cut TNT some slack, most everyone hat yesterday off.

Malls are closed on statitory holidays in Canada (Christmas, Canada Day, etc) so I assumed they were in the States as well. My bad. Still, the point remains...

It's not just Neopets by a long shot. Many offices give their employees a different day off if a holiday that would have meant an extra day off falls on a weekend.

Anything else would just be mean. "Well, yes, you're entitled to Christmas and New Years off, but they fall on a Saturday, so that's two fewer days you get off this year! Bwa ha ha!"

Certianly everything in my university was closed yesterday, as I discovered to my chagrin when I forgot and went to get an article in the library. At least the drive back home was easy -- there was no rush hour traffic because everyone had the day off.

Of course, businesses like shops and malls are often open on holidays (as they are on weekends) because that's when other people (who work in offices, etc.) are free to shop. :-)

In short, give Neopets a break. They're hardly obliged to make people in their US office work through US holidays so people in other parts of the world can get an extra day of news.

Hm I completely forgot that lots of people had yesterday off, but that explains why there was no new features.
