hey guys ive heard of rumors that the max limit for np is 40 mil is it true or theres is no limit at all?

That's somewhat true. The accepted "limit", if it exists, is 40 million.

Of course, nobody wants to try it out so the validity of that number isn't known.

I've heard yes and no. That if you reach 40 million np in the bank that your balance will reset to 0, then I've heard that that is just a rumor, that you can have as many np as you are able to honestly earn.

Unless we have one of the really big people here who actually have that amount and are willing to just post yes or no, I guess we'll never know. At least I won't!

I won't say their names but I do know two people who have more points than that and have never had any problems with their accounts. Sorry no names since I'm not sure they would want it posted.

No, I believe that if you have more than 40 million NP on hand, it is reset to zero. I'm not sure about the bank.

A few months ago a member was able to confirm this by the way of a glitch, which has now been disabled. The name's slipped my memory though.

im 90% sure that what the deal is is that you can have up to 39,999,999 neopoints on hand. If you go over that, it is reset to zero. however, you can simply store all these neopoints in the bank, so i wouldnt worry about it... keep the neopoints in the bank and youll be fine.

There is a guy on GameFAQs with 100million (unsure of the exact amount) in the bank and he's had no problems, so it must be just in hand.

I was a little worried there for a second... not sure about what, considering I know that I will never have 40 million period!

I think I may have that much in items and cash, but I don't think I'm ready to liquidate my items to find out what the limit is.

NO ONE would be willing to try withdrawing 40 mil from the bank unless they just wanted to waste NP. If they did answer it in the editorial, I wish that they would put it in the Help section.

The name of the person was firebirdGM or was it firebirdTM? Maybe it was just Firebird, I forgot. I remember when he posted that, nobody knows if he was tellling the truth or not since nobody wants their 40 million np turn to 0.
