Yes, there will be premium bonus items, and yes, they are advertising hard again. So far, the ones previewed are all existing items. Their value will plummet imminently. Here's the ones pictured in the news article and their prices as of now:
I expect by tomorrow, they'll be at least half those number if not 1/3. The auctions/TP will be flooded with panicked sellers tonight (and probably even more so tomorrow once the full prize pools for both are figured out).

I voted for the AC, probably because of recency bias. Because of my concussion, I only have vague memories of the events from last spring, and the rhyming irked me more than it should have. And TOT is nice, but I had to rush it, so... The AC it is.

They had a button for me to click to "do not show again" the premium bonuses, which I only saw because I clicked to see them to begin with. Thanks, TNT. I'd really rather just not have to watch ads to load the SW though!

I hope the avvie is just for voting on all categories. Interesting that there will be 2 exclusive prizes this year (and an extra past that for premium) for day-of voting. O.o That could be...dangerous, depending on what they put in those slots.

JN has a full list of both prize pools at this point. I am actually much more excited about the regular prize pool than the premium one. It includes only items released this last year, and there are FOUR stamps there that have been stupidly expensive (7-18 mil) that are now much more affordable, so I'm hoping to add those to my album before the month is over. There are also some nicer wearables, etc.

Yes it is - I need all 4 stamps that are in the regular pool (but none of the ones in the premium pool, go figure), but I promised my kiddos I'd buy off them first if they want to sell. I'm waiting until probably around the 20th or so to see what I have and haven't gotten by then to do any buying.

Apparently, the avatar is unlocked if you correctly guess a winner. I did not for the first category. We'll see if/when that happens for me. I usually get at least a couple winners, but I tend to like things that most people don't, so...

I got the avatar for day 1. It's fairly likely we'll all get the avvie without really trying, but there are always days where it seems fairly obvious what the winner will be just in case.

My third day vote was the least popular (and my second choice came in just slightly ahead of it). That feels more familiar. (I suspect I voted for the most popular again today, unless there are more diehard baby fans than I thought. Juni is too cute.)
