Their new affiliation, helping out each other in both ways, to make each site unique.
Virtualpetlist.com is the only gaming site to do this so far, but were sure that there will be copiers in the near future.
Basically this contract, which can be found on Virtual pet list's forum,

We're already aware that people are going “what the heck, is with this affiliation with Polairia?”, just take it as a new beginning for Polairia and Virtual pet list.
Take it or leave it, because a new era has begun, and the features will be produced soon.
