I saw it last night.

I've never seen a horror movie with plot. It was good, funny at points where it should not of been, but still very good.

I've never seen a theatre of teenagers clapping at the end of the movie, but they did.

Meh.. i just saw it.. and Meh.. is about all I can say about it.
It wasn't terrible, but I didn't think it was all that great.
It definetly wasn't very scary.
Of course it had it's moments that made ya jump or get a little creeped out, but nothing major.

Spoiler!

The last part where Samara is climbing up the well wall all funky like.. that was a bit creepy, but that's about it.

On the radio they said it has freaky parts, I'm assuming they mean parts like the way she crawled out of the tv in the first movie. However, I heard it wasn't as good as the first, not that great of a movie period. I think I'm going to wait for it to come out on DVD, movies are so expensive these days that I have to be picky about which are worth watching o_O.

Saw it last night, and my opinion is about the same as Shollia's. Not as scary as the first one, by a long shot.

They gave Samara this really weird backstory, about being adopted from an orphanage after her real mother tried to kill her as a baby. It was kinda dumb.

Meh, I don't know if I want to see it. I'm a huge fan of the book and manga, but the movies are pretty silly. They changed a lot in the first one compared to the original story...
I'm still going to go see it, out of curiosity.

Just saw it.

In my opinion it was horrible. I'm not a very jumpy person but I always jump once in a horror movie, but in this one I was laughing the whole way through.

If this was a comedy, they succeeded. If they weren't joking and this really was a horror movie, Mission Failed.

A bit freaky at times, but mainly just corny. The funniest part was probably when the deer were attacking the car. There was another funny part but I'm not mentioning it because it's near the end and there's some...uh, language. The other movie was more about the origins of the video, this one is mostly about Samara and the lady's son Aiden. That's all I can really say without giving anything away. I think it was worth seeing though.

How freaky is it that when I went into this thread again the banner at the bottom was an advert for the ring to movie :o

I think it's a sign, stay away from t.v's and things that resemble a circle, or a child like Samara will haunt you....
Haha
Probably just a very freaky coincidence.

The movie was okay, but I thought the first one was better. People were screaming when they just showed Samara. She could have been sitting there and everyone kept screaming.
