Okay... who watched the season premiere tonight?
I've been waiting seven months for this! It's 9:45 here, so half of it isn't even over yet. Gah!
I'm so angry about the "elite" team in the CIA! This is the dumbest thing ever.... I can't believe the producers/writers introduced that jerk character again. At least Sydney and Dixon are working together again. :)

Oh c'mon... those guys HAD to come back. You can't just leave them off in limbo! I say its a very interesting plot starter-offer for the season :D

And there some muy 'rawr' clothings in this episode o_O hehe.

I saw him in the previews... and I just still can't believe they'd bring him back to the good side again so somewhat trusting. Sure they could pretty much kill him on sight if he falls from their grace, but after the end of last season I wish he was dead (but then I guess they wouldn't have all the connections he had) >_< Five bucks says he doublecrosses.

Good opener though. I think the best part was with Marshall and the PS2 :roflol:

*SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS*

Well, while I DO think that the whole Black Ops branch thing is a little unnecessary, it IS nice to have the whole team together again, like old times. Dixon was just not working out as Director. I'm worried for them though, because Sloane is so obviously gonna screw them over BUT GOOD.

If they don't include Weiss in this special ops group, I'm going to be sad. Because I loves me some Weiss, and he deserves it, by gosh! He gets shot all the time and stuff!! (I AM glad they brought Marshall in. I knew they would, because he's such good comic relief.)

And what about Will? I heard they were bringing him back this season.

Anyway, I'm really glad Nadia gets more face time now. She's awesome. And I was ready to be reallllly mad at Jack, but he's ok by me again. And I don't believe for a second that Irina is dead. Not one second.

I'd like to toss in another $5 -- Sloane is definitely going to screw them over.
-----spoilers-----
I don't even understand what the Black Ops team's purpose is. I'll have to watch it again to see how the lady explained it, but I doubt that I'll like it even then.
Marshall is by far the most hilarious character. The PS2 thing was a fantastic touch, and I loved what he said to Dixon about his being director. I can't remember the exact quote, but it was just so funny. Marshall's honesty and lack of tact without malicious intent is great. He really adds a spark to the show, especially after it was butchered during the third season.
Weiss lost more weight! I think it's silly that he hasn't been added to the Black Ops team. Hmm... Sydney is working for the bank, traveling. Jack, Dixon, Vaughn, and Marshall have all left the CIA.... How is that not suspicious at all?

lol "Robot Dixon". xD

I'm wondering if anyone's going to pick up the other end of that bet. lol So far we seem to share the opinion that there's going to be much screwing over on Sloane's part.

I saw the primere last night and it was really good! I think i might get hooked

I have a feeling that Weiss will join (or at least have knowledge of the black-ops team) at somewhere mid-season. He's such a good shoulder for both Vaughn and Sydney, it's just not possible for him to help both of them without knowing something.

BTW has anyone heard anything if Tarintino's character is returning (I vaguely recall last season so I don't remember if that guy died or not :P)

Fri Jan 07, 2005 12:02 am

I don't know that Tarantino's character was last season. Wasn't he in season 1 or 2? I haven't watched either season for a few months now,and I refuse to watch any of season 3 over... so I haven't a clue, really. =P
He had a really crazy character though -- it suited him, in a way.
Livin_in_the_shadow, I wish you had caught the first two seasons then, because they were 100 times better than the third season... and for some odd reason  I don't have high hopes for this season either.

I feel so behind right now. I missed the season premiere! I wanted to cry, but then found out they were showing it again tomorrow, so I feel better now. Weiss is my favourite too though, and he better have a good role in the show. Can't really say much else though until I see it, but I love this show and it better not suck this season!

I sometimes watched them because my mom watches them allllllll the time.

Whooo. That underground scene with Weiss... that was nice. Gun right at his face. Pulls one of those stupid "my heart!!!" moves (which 24 used the last episode :P) and ko's the guy. Hehehe.

And the final shooting scene... BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM! :D

Thu Jan 13, 2005 6:24 am

Darn I was wrong as to when Wiess was going to join the rest of the gang, but it doesn't really matter :P

Nadia's hostility towards Jack during the exam and then the fragfest on Bishop does bring up some questions on how she'd handle Jack if she does find the truth on Irina's murder. I have a feeling that it's not the end for that (since she's just as capable as Sydney)

Thu Jan 13, 2005 8:48 am

Oh man.... Scott was SO mean to me when I was wigging out about Weiss being caught. He kept saying that Weiss was dead! Grrr! *thwacks Scott again* I love Weiss. If they ever kill him off, I will never forgive them.
And whoa-- I was shocked when I saw what Nadia did to Bishop at the end, seeing as she thought he killed Irina. I'm smurf off at Jack for not telling her. Because you know she's going to find out, and when she does, I'm afraid of what might happen.

Thu Jan 13, 2005 8:56 am

Yeah, Jack's being a... well, you know. I hope he knows Sydney is never going to love him again, after all this.
