Starwars 4-6 The remastered edition!

Anyone seen it yet? I did , 'twas refreshin seeing it again (after 6 years I haven't seen it  ). It looks really , really nice :
I noticed that some people have changed like Sidious (I think they changed it to the Palpatine from the Revenge of the Sith) and also in the end when Luke looked at the 3 Jedi's that died (Vader , Obi-Wan and Yoda) They changed Anakin to the younger guy (instead of the crusty old guy  which is weird but I like it B) )

Yeah, I got it on DVD for christmas. Yes, they did change those two parts so they looked like the people in ROTS. At the end of ROTJ, they also added Naboo to the sequence of planets celebrating the dissolution of the Empire. I'm not sure if it was just Naboo, or if that whole sequence was new. They also made a bunch of parts digital, like the Millenium Falcon in ANH going away from the Death Star.

Yeah, I saw it. It was okay... :P I'm not too much of a Star Wars freak to notice small differences. :P

I still think they should refilm IV-VI with new actors. ._.

Oh they really did change Anakin? My bf was telling me about it and I thought he had gone crazy or something. I don't see why they'd change it though, they should just leave the originals as they are, why mess with classics?!

I watched the IV-VI recently and noticed the change to Anakin ghost and the addition of what looked like celebrations on Naboo, and it was pretty pointless.

I was glad they changed the emperor, because in the old one it looks like his face is completely flat. x_x

Are you serious?

I don't think he is! I mean who could replace the original?

No-one could ever reshoot the films, it would be a crime to humanity! And the guy who played Anakin before was called Sebastian Shaw :P

Star wars geek and proud!

I love the originals, and don't think anyone should touch them. They're perfect the way they are. On the other hand though, I'm actually really curious how they'd turn out if they did decide to remake them.

I don't mean refilm to replace it. :P Keep the originals, just refilm them with different actors, and maybe some scenes not in the originals, and then release them separately.

...

:o No! What? Gah! I think a little part of me died just now reading that suggestion.

[sits in the corner and cuddles with her original trilogy]

I don't like that suggestion *falls uncoscious* :roflol:

I think it'll happen. I don't want it to happen, but I think it will.

So, just saying it did... who'd you think would play Luke?

Wed Jun 08, 2005 7:47 pm

It can't happen. It would cause great outrage, and the idea of it really bothers me. It's like now that the first three are done, all these little teenybopping fans of the new ones want to see the old ones redone all fancy shmancy. But you don't mess with the classics. You just don't.
If George Lucas allowed it, he'd be hunted down by his own fans.
