Match Box Twenty VS Queen

Facts

MatchBoxTwenty
  • Are heavily influenced by 70's rock.
  • Their album "More Than You Think You Are" truly proves that this band is much more than the sum of its parts. When asked about this album, Adam Gaynor had this to say, “It makes you want to move your hips a little bit. It’s more sensual, more sexy than anything we’ve ever done. And even the more laidback numbers have that vibe.”
  • Their singles include, "Disease", "Bright Lights" and "Unwell".

Total Number of Videos: 7

Queen
  • Their songs "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions" both of which combined gave Queen their first number one U.S. single.
  • After the disappointment Queen felt from their Jazz album, they came back in the 80's with a brand new album entitled "The Game". It went four times platinum and marked the first time a synthesizer was used on a Queen album.
  • Their singles include, "We Will Rock You", "Another One Bites The Dust" and "We Are The Champions".

Total Number of Videos: Unknown at the moment.

Wow- that's really hard. I like both bands, but I went with Queen.

*loves Bohemian Rhapsody*

As for why this round was very late was because of the downtime, and some other problems. Therefore expect Versus to be a little shaky between the months of May to July.

Matchbox 20. The underdog ;P

Sat Jun 11, 2005 5:08 pm

MB20 saved my babies!

Considering that I'd probably choose a recording of a cat in a blender over Matchbox 20...

I'd say Queen. I really do love Queen, though, so I'd probably pick them anyway.

*sniffles* Kitty cat in a blender?

Anyway, I chose Queen. My mom, my brother and I just love them. Excellent band.

A tough one but I pick Queen.
I need to be in a certain mood to listen to Matchbox 20 most of the time, but Queen I can listen to any time.

Sat Jun 11, 2005 5:40 pm

Queen. No contest, MB20 are rubbish.

Sat Jun 11, 2005 6:29 pm

I chose Queen.

They just have far too many good songs. ^_^

All right, I admit it, I only came to snigger at the phrase "golden round." But now that I'm here, "Last Beautiful Girl in the World" has been awesomely filked (Bellatrix Lestrange/I won't forget/If I'm the the last man standing in the world), so Matchbox Twenty.

Sat Jun 11, 2005 7:11 pm

It appears I've tied it by voting for Matchbox Twenty... :P

Sat Jun 11, 2005 7:16 pm

Queen is excellence.

Sat Jun 11, 2005 7:19 pm

Queen is horrible and should die.

Sat Jun 11, 2005 7:25 pm

I'm not a fan of either one... But my vote will go for Matchbox Twenty.
