Thu Sep 15, 2005 7:51 pm

The full, official trailer has been released, and will run in theaters with Corpse Bride.

You can view it online here.

Eta: Don't miss the glimpse of pre-cauldron Voldie at the end.

-applause-

:( Moody looks scary. I love his illustrations in the book, but not this one.

lol That's totally how I felt, Crew. I actually whimpered a little at the end of it.

November is never going to come.

All I can say is wow. Looks awsome. November 18 for the US... That means it'll be here around December 15 :(

Can't say i'm looking foward to Mad Eye Moody, though

If anyone needs to see what the release date is where they live then check this list on mugglenet :)

Thanks very much for posting this, I really can't wait til November 18th. This film looks fabby, much darker than I was expecting or hoping for with some nice new additions, some artistic license (head in the fireplace not what I imagined it to be!) and hopefully not too much cut out. I was disappointed with PoA for missing out such crucial information and was worried how the film makers would tackle the first big HP book and one of my favourites at that. But I think this is going to be excellent :D

No, me neither. It bugs me a little, but I'm sure I'll get over it. :D

*blinks* It's not loading for me.

*feels... cheated and upset*
*dies from lack of trailer*

*hugs Inrun* It's a huuuuge file, it took awhile to load for me too. You'll also need QuickTime.

Edited:

Oh my god it loaded.
*watches... rewatches... watches more*
I want to cry... it's so pretty... *drools* Moody should have grey hair.

Woah! That looks awesome! I love the Beaubaton's unicorn drawn carriage. I love the outfits they wear and the little blue faerie things that they made appear. I love the way the maze looks, and the mermaids, and everything! This is going to be a fast paced and special effect filled movie! Oh it is going to be a lot of eyecandy this time!

And look

VOLDEMORT!!!

Spoiler warning for all who haven't read the sixth book, although you should have by now if you were going to!

Well he sort of looks sad in this picture actually. I don't know what Dumbledore was hinting at in the end of the sixth book, but it is almost as if he wants us to pity Voldemort. Or at least understand him. I am of the opinion that Voldemort is sad much of the time, or depressed or something. But JKR has said on numerous occasions that the book isn't going to end with him getting theorpy and that it wouldn't help and that he is pure evil. But then she seems to at least want us to begin to pity him.
He sort of looks like a pitiful old man in this picture to me, not really as scary as I would like.

But you know how in horror movies you never really see the evil things, just flashes of them, but never really the whole thing? Well I certainly hope they do this in the movie because I think a Voldemort who doesn't speak as much and you just catch little glimpses of is going to be a lot scarier than one all in your face making theatrical speeches filled with Mhahahahaha's. December 8th...
Not the latest on the list. Still, they should have had the subtitles translated into all languages before hand, so they can all come out at the same time.
