the whole "I liked it before the movie elitism" that existed before the movie previewed was kind of punched in the face, let's be honest; they were talk-singing, the transitions were awful, and it's not a screen script.

I saw the play on Sunday, and wow. Wow...

wow.

Just goes to show how the medium influences the text as much as the text influences the medium.

I find the stage performance amazing. There's just so much energy there... especially during Over the Moon (my favourite part). It's just... an experience.

I thought the movie was kind of dumb. They changed some of the songs and it just seemed so... scripted. At least in the play, sometimes they change the lyrics just a little.
