I think that if they really have to they should censor it, but they should also have uncensored copies of it, maybe shown at night or something.

I've also found the this causes that arguments to be stupid, It's like with GTA supposedly causing a kid to go out and shoot a cop, I don't like the game but I also know it's not the reason the kid shot the cop, that happened because the kid was raised wrong.

I mean most of the dults I know grew up watching Popeye their not going around killing people because they saw him doit.

Also I can't remember what the movie was called but it was based off the brer rabbit stories(iknow it was made by disney), is Illegal in the US because it supposedly glorified slavery, people same to be missing that the original stories were told by slaves, and written down by the descendant of slaves. It's all people's perspectives and no facts.

There are people who want to ban Helsing just because of there are natzis in it, ignoring the fact that they are also the bad guys.

No.
You cannot put all the blame on the parents, it is wrong and immoral.
Society is often a major cause, as are geographical locations, the governing body and various other circumstances too numerous to mention.

I grew up with my parents being blamed for my actions, they even tried to have me taken away.
What was my Parents so called crime? Loving me so much that Dragging me kicking and screaming half naked to school was too much to bare.

People are what society make them, Evolutionary and social pressure are what creates a monster.
Blaming a parent is like blaming the first world war on Germany.
Not even scratching the surface on the truth.

Your right, I should have phrased what I said better, to me somone being raised is factored by outside influences, teachers, friends, and parents all influence it, the fact is the game was not the reason that the kid did what he did.

Seriously, if kids were really that easily influenced by cartoons, a lot more children would be voluntarily eating spinach. ;) Interesting how only the more irresponsible acts get all the attention when the more moral acts could just as easily be copied as well. The person who chooses to parrot, does so of their own volition and the cartoons are just an excuse. I'm sure a young person would be much more influenced to smoke if their dad or favorite aunt smoked, rather than a cartoon cat.

gurh.. how silly. Reminds me of that South Park cartoon where they took everything away remotely to do with Xmas because it offended too many people.

Yeah, okay, the reason I ever tried smoking was because I watched Tom and Jerry cartoons when I was a child.

"OMG! Smoking is soooo cool! After all, that cartoon cat does it!"
