i really wanted Little Miss Sunshine to win best picture! i was so smurf off when i saw The Departed win 
I was like shouting at the tv when i saw Jenifer Hudson won her oscar, I was really rooting for Abigail Breslin to win that.....I mean come on! A 10 year old winning an Oscar? That would have been the the biggest upset the Oscars would have ever seen!
It was obvious that Helen Mirren was going to win but I really wanted Peter O'Toole to win Best Actor, even though it was so obvious that Forest Whitaker would win it hands down. It would have beeen great to see some older and more experienced actors win the oscars for once, like most of the winners are quite young when you think about it....look at Halle Berry, Hilary Swank and Charlize Theron! I say the academy are purposely choosing young actors to win.....
anf finally Martin Scorcese won! I thought it wasgreat how they got three other directing giants to give him his award. That i thought was the cherry on top of the cake

Actually, Tatum O'Neal won Best Actress for Paper Moon in 1973, when she was 10.
