He called himself a doctor, but Saywer described him (sarcastically) as a "science teacher" so who knows what his story really is.

He's probably got a doctorate degree in science, but has never taken it further than working as a science teacher.

Also, it's been said by J.J. Abrams, in various places, that the main characters we see all the time now, won't be the main characters in the next season, so maybe this guy (who is the first extra with lines, ever) will be one of the new characters next season.

Walt- Even though he's a freaky little kid with 'special' powers.. he's still annoying..

Shannon- I can't stand her.. put her on the boat and "accidently" push her into the water while no one is looking.

Michael- He's just annoying. His suspiscious attitude and guilty before proven innocent rantings are getting on my nerves.

Claire- Yeah.. she's a boring character. Was exciting when she had her baby, but now... meh.... maybe she'll turn into a background char though.

So yeah.... if those chars were never seen or heard from again.. I could go on and enjoy the show without them lol

It was the last lines when she was talking with Sun. I ended up getting into a good discussion when me and my mother missed that part.

I liked the show, but I lost touch once they kept rerunning eposodes and adding new characters.

To me it seemed the writers are "lost" in trying to keep the plot together.

I am still wondering what happened to that doctor's father? He showed up as if he was a ghost that only the doctor could see, and then the doctor noticed that his father's coffin was empty. But then that never showed up again.

I'm also integued by that number whatever it was.

Man that was an exciting episode!
Although I did think the flashbacks were unnecessary... Really.. what was the point in showing the Jin and Sun or the Mike and Walt flashbacks?

Unless they're going to be introducing those characters next season... like the girl who was hitting on Jack, or the guy who came out into the hallway to ask what was wrong with Walt... or the snide idiot couple who were making those comments about Sun/Jin.

And I was really not expecting the Black Rock to be a boat! I swear.. that crazy hag couldn't just say.. BOAT... it's not that hard ya insane in the membrane woman!

And and.. the big 'monster'.. what did she call it.. the security system for the island? heh

Oh and don't even get me started on that black smoke!! My goodness.. they're going to leave us hanging next week! I don't know if I'm gonna be able to wait months for season two! rofl.

I'm so sad to see Sawyer go though I thought it was awesome that they ended up making the character finally tell Jack about his dad though. That was really sweet.

Oh, that was the best episode. I cried so much. I just love Sawyer now. He acts hard but he's such a softy. I hope he doesn't die on the ocean, I'll lose it.

And I'm soooo glad Jin and Sun made up. When he said he was sorry and he had to go so he could save her, I started bawling like a baby. I love him too.

You know, I've always liked Kate and Jack, even when other people started to hate them because they get so much screen time. But I have to admit, I'm getting a little tired of them, especially Kate. We know what her deal is now, let's move on please.

Sooooo excited for the finale. I know it's going to leave us hanging and probably drive me crazy with questions, but I'm still excited.
