Voted off? You sure you aren't mistaking the "First person to bail has to go live on their own" thing?

Sat Apr 16, 2005 4:12 am

AH!
Sorry, sorry!
I really meant... that person has to live on their own...
Sorry for the confusion!
Yes, and it doesn't make sense at all.

That.. will be an interesting twist. But knowing the previews, they probably cut off the "for the night" part or something. Because their previews are always so misleading.

Yay, looks like next week maybe we'll get a little interview thingy with Janu, because maybe its just me, but I don't remember having more than two with her. One in the first episode, and one.. some other time.

I don't remember ANY interviews with Janu... maybe she doesn't like them or something?
I hope that they will interview her.

I'm so disappointed with Janu.
I thought she was going to be at least somewhat physical, but man.. was I wrong!
I could really care less about her.. she needs to go along with the other women.. except for Steph of course.

I actually disagree with you. This episode, I really liked Janu. She confronted stupid Katie and told her to stop acting like a child. Even though she was sick, she played well. And laying her torch down because she wanted to go home and for Steph, was really nice of her. I know she wanted Steph to stay in.

And I cannot stand this tribe. They laughed at Janu when she got out and when she was talking to Jeff. What morons. Steph I think was the only one quiet.

Go Steph!

Jeff totally manipulated that, but I'm really glad he did. Steph didn't deserve to go -- she's not even the biggest threat! Although Gregg was dead-on about her "story" developing. The reason Jeff wanted to keep her was because she's kind of the archetypal "hero," of the season, valiantly surviving despite tremendous odds. And hero = ratings, which Survivor is doing quite well in right now (villain also = ratings, but we don't seem to have one in this season unless Gregg develops into one).

I'm so happy Steph survived! Next ep it looks like she'll try to form an all-female alliance against the men, which is an excellent idea. Once the men are gone, she'll have no problem going on an immunity run against the women -- unless they wisen up to her plan first!

Cha cha cha, charmin!

Right you were. Oh how that sucked. I was looking for some major odd tribe remake thing, where at every immunity it happened, and they went to the new tribe.. *sigh* Was looking for something a little more intesting.

Previews were complete crap.

I wrote that for the last episode...
This episode Janu wasn't that bad... and I'm glad she said something to the annoying as heck Katie.

I don't really think that they were laughing AT her more than just trying to keep the situation light.. ya know? Just trying to joke around with eachother... BUT unfortunatly they just so happened to pick the 'easy' target which happened to be Janu who did stay in a measly SIX minutes.

I SOOOOO want Katie to just be GONE. Jenn too... those 2 heffers (yes I know I keep calling them that) are getting on my nerves!
I was so happy this season not to have the annoying women, but... I was wrong once again b/c there they are!

And Although I do like Steph... I'm a bit peeved with her from watching the previews for next week.
I'm sorry but I just HATE it when they (the people) do the crappy "women vs men!" thing. I'm so sick of that freakin strategy!!

But anyways.... Steph better not get Tom or Ian voted off.. or she's gonna go to almost the bottom of my list of likeable people.
I don't see why she's mad at him anyway since Tom was the one who wanted Janu off before Steph. If she were smart which she doesn't seem to be right now... she'd be trying to get Gregg off. I think he's the biggest threat right now b/c he has Jenn behind him and Jenn has Katie... *sigh*
Just gotta wait to see what happens I guess

I totally agree with you. I thought Janu really stepped up to the plate this week, I think she did a good job. I was also very relieved to see Steph wasn't going to be voted out, she's my favorite. That girl has tremendous drive, and unlike a couple of the past women survivor women, she isn't riding anyone's coat tail.

And also with Janu, I was feeling a little bad for her. She was just SO skinny and you could tell when she quite the immunity challenge first that she quite because she actually felt she couldn't go on in it any longer. Did anyone else notice how much she was shivering?

Fri Apr 22, 2005 3:58 am

Thank God for Janu. As soon as Steph lost Immunity, I was hoping and praying that Janu would do something like that, and I'm so glad she did. Chromey's right, Jeff totally manipulated it, but I think Janu would have quit eventually. She just didn't belong there.

Darn it, Steph, get your butt in gear!! Stop giving them the opportunity to vote you out!! That girl better start winning Immunity or seriously strategizing. If she gets voted out after all this, I'm going to scream.

Oh, and Katie needs to get eaten by a shark or something. I hate her.

I don't hate Gregg, he's just trying to win. But I don't WANT to see him win, so... yeah.

Allright.
Confession time.

I skim this thread before tribal council. Why? Because I can't take the suspsense. Don't worry, i'm not mad or anything, I LIKE finding out before the fact that it happens.
But I read "Steph didn't deserve to go" (since I was skimming)
And I was like "OMG NO! NO!!! WHY STEPH WHY?!" Man was I ticked off.
So I kinda haphazardly watched the show... blah blah blah...

and then I was so happy when Janu quit!
MAN!
Roller coaster!
I'm so happy Stephs in.
Gregs a dink.
I really want Steph to win.
I don't like how Ian and Tom are turning out. Steph is great.
I really really hate Greg.
Hate hate hate... Greg Greg Greg.
But I think Steph'll be gone by next ep. *sigh*

I just keep getting surprised with Steph.. she keeps pretty much throwing those immunity challenges (well the 2 we've had so far :P).
It's like before tonight.. she thought she was sooooo safe. She should know better than that.

Gregg, Katie and Jenn.... I want them gone.. if they were gone I'd be happy happy happy
But next week... I think Steph might try a little too hard with her strategizing(sp?) and it's gonna end up with her getting voted out

Fri Apr 22, 2005 4:54 pm

I think the bars looked pretty uneven in that last challenge... it may've been harder for her to breathe. Plus a lot of it depended on the shape of your face. *Shrug* We'll see for next challenge.
If she wins, it's gonna throw the kuror off big time.

Thu May 05, 2005 12:48 pm

Well, Steph's gone... *sigh* At least she's on the jury.

Go Tom! If Tom gets voted off... Go Ian!! If Ian gets voted off... Go to hell, all the rest of you!!
