The simpsons neeed to be put out to pasture.
bring back futurama.

gotta love Zoidberg though, especially the episode where he returns home to find a mate.
"now everybody, stand up for the national anthem.."
(a cookie to anyone who knows where the anthem is from)

I resent the statement that Futurama is a simpsons rip off. I'm telling you if the Simpsons were never created first and Matt Groaning had created Futurama instead then the Simpsons We'd be sitting here with the Simpsons cancelled on the 4th season and you'd be saying The Simpsons was just a Futurama Rip off.

Now that over with My fave episode is 'The What If Machine'
The one I'm talking about (As I think there are 2) Is the one with the Wizard of Oz Spoof

'I'M MELTING, I'M MELTING WHO WOULD'VE THOUGHT A LITTLE DROP OF WATER WOULD'VE SPILT ON MEEEEEEEEEEE...'
xD That's my fave Futurama Quote My fave Character Has to be The Proffessor I mean the episode where Bender bends him puts him ahead of everyone in my book xD

Gosh, I haven't gotten to watch Futurama in FOREVER...I wish they didn't cancel it.

The first episode is classic. Such a shame we never got to find out what Fry's first name was. (I knew Futurama had SOMETHING to do with your old username!)

Bender was always my favourite. Especially his catchphrase. I think it came about as popular as Bart's "Eat my shorts!".

He's Philip James Fry
Isn't he? I'm sure I heard his middle name on an episode

Futurama was great. (Simpsons is better) but they're both great quality Animations. :)

Loved each and every episode, unfortunately Futurama had to be slotted in a death slot (before primetime). It's a great pity... but hopefully It'll make a Family Guy-esque resurgance and come back! (Hopefully it'll get rid of that horrible American Dad animation -.-)

BTW... the next simpsons episode is titled Future-Drama Will it have any references? Who knows.

Futurama owns every show on TV. Except maybe CSI...

I have every episode of the show on DVD. My favorite episode is Luck Of The Fryrish.

But lets come back to the real world and analyze the facts, the Simpsons WERE first. Which does mean Futurama is a rip off. That does not mean its bad, I'm just pointing out that the Simpsons is the original here.

I'd also like to point out that A rip off is something that is almost exactly like something else.

Why is Futurama almost exectly like The Simpsons?

How does that mean futurama was a rip off? Would you call the second movie ever made by a director a rip off of his first because it was in the same style as the first even though they had nothing to do with each other? Futurama has the same style of animation. It also had great humor and wit, but it was nothing like the simpsons which is why I don't see the point in comparing them. You can like one more that the other, that is your opinion, but Futurama most certainly was not a rip off.

I agree.

Futurama has an original plot with different animation. It has a unique sense of humor whereas Simpsons has an outfront sort of humor.

You want a rip-off, check out "American Dad".

I liked Futurama so much better than any simpsons episode. Dr. Zoidberg is so cool!!

I have all the DVDs so now I can watch them all.

I think Fox should have at least let them make a designated final series so thre could be like an apocoplypse episode right at the end instead of the devil's hands one.

Well, sign my petition to get it back (that I'm just making now) and we'll submit it to Fox when it gets to 1000 (a bot optimistic but eh?)
