I wonder if they asked him a question about Neopets if he would know? I would laugh if he did. :P

EDIT: I think he's a robot ;)

EDIT 2: Ahhh yes, the end has come, but even I knew the final Jepoardy Question: H&R Block. Hmmmm, just makes me a little suspicious... :>

I thought of a similar question, except I wondered if he would know a Pokemon question XD

You can see he lost on purpose.
And he got 2,500,000 EVEN.
He had enough.

Wed Dec 01, 2004 1:39 am

I missed it, who'd he lose to and what were the questions?

No. He didn't have 2,500,000 even.

He had 2,520,700. I honestly doubt he lost on purpose. It was the fatigue factor which destroyed Thom McKee 24 years ago on Tic Tac Dough.

Collin, he lost to a realtor from Ventura, California named Nancy Zerg.
This was the FJ:

Category: Business and Industry
Answer: Most of this firm's 70,000 seasonal, white-collar employees work only four months a year.

Correct question: What is H&R Block? (Nancy got it right.)

Ken questioned, "What is FedEx?" Gasps were heard from the audience. At the end, Ken got a standing ovation and gave Nancy a big hug.

You have to admit, Ken's response was kind of stupid. White-collar and Fed Ex in the same sentence? I don't think so........

Wed Dec 01, 2004 3:04 am

Yeah... I think he lost on purpose. You could tell that he just wasn't trying at all.
But that Fed-Ex answer just pretty much said it... he did lose it on purpose.
Eh oh well though.. good for him that he won all that $$

i know...its too...smiley...lol ;)
Besides that I think he has some complex way of cheating... It's very suspicious him winning that much...

That's almost impossible. They've got very intense security on the J! set, since they don't want to repeat the Quiz Show Scandals of the 50s. Besides, he would've been caught by now if he did.

Oh, and by the way, I have his autograph. ;)

Nice! How did you manage to get it?

Jeopardy! forum. He goes there. :) We mail a SASE to him at the place he works.

How can I get his autograph? My parents are big Ken Jennings fans!

I just KNEW I should've watched this episode. MAN! Oh well. *enter complaints here*

Wed Dec 01, 2004 11:08 am

I didn't see the episode, however, my Mom and brother were playing, they scream the anwsers thinking whoever is louder will get the money.

It was funny when Mum said H&R Block and thought she was smarter than him. *twisted smile*

I came out just to see Final Jepoardy. The newspaper where I live said that he would lose on December 1, the last day of November sweeps. o_O So, here I was thinking it was today, but I just went and watched just in case. And it happend! He lost!

I'm inclined to think that he threw that game. He's broken all the records he can, and he probably is very sick of coming back week after week. :P And in the game, he got two Double Jepoardy's wrong, something he's never done before...

He's going to wipe the floor with his challengers on the Tournement of Champions next year. :D

I never even knew about this guy until I heard it about it on the news last night xD. 74 wins in a row? That's just phenomenal. That's a lot of money too. He set the world record for most money won on a game show I think, or most consecutive wins on any game show *shrugs*

I'm sad he lost though, I never got to see him play :(

I heard somewhere that they told Ken to lose on purpose. The question was pretty simple and looking at his answer, it does seem as if he didn't try at all and just said some random answer.
