I voted for Lonely. It was actually really hard to choose, I find both annoying, but I think Lonely is slightly more annoying.

Jesse McCartney. 
Both are equally annoying them from what my friends were saying about that Lonely song and I'm all like "Oh no...

I've never heard of Lonely by Akon... The only reason I even know Beautiful Soul by Jesse McCartney is because my friends like him.

Apparently the chipmunk voice is the digitally altered voice of the guy who sang the song it was based of. I wonder why they went that route but it makes me want to hear the original.
I don't know why, but your description finally made it click for me what song was being talked about. Woohoo, now I can vote! ^_^ And I definitely think Lonely is more annoying, because I always stop and try to figure out what I'm listening too, which means I hear more of it. The McCartney song I can immediately flip off because I recognize that genre of voices very quickly.

I think it's time for another one of these polls. But which two songs are annoying enough to compete with one another? I have to admit this pairing was rather inspired.
