How did people not know who Johnny Depp was before Pirates of The Carribbean? He was in lots of great films before that! Sorry! I've loved Johnny Depp for years. He's a great actor. :D *calms down*

Anyway, I thought The Dish was going to be really dull and boring, but I got into it, and in the end I loved it, it's a great film. :D

I've always been a huge fan, but now a bunch of screaming twits have jumped on the bandwagon.

TBH, I thought that "The Village" was going to be s-so, but it turned out to be brilliant!

Good to hear you were a fan of Johnny Depp, pre-Pirates Of The Caribbean, Fidds. :) People say how they love him now, and there's this whole "OMG, I luv Johnny so much, he roxors" blah. I mean he's been around for years, and years, being a great actor, and gah it just annoys me. That's why I'm a bit iffy about the film Pirates Of The Caribbean itself. I must say though, Johnny is most excellent in Edward Scissorhands, From Hell and Ed Wood. (Not that he isn't excellent in other films, but those are my personal favourites) :D

Oh dear, I've rambled.

Anyway, another film that I was expecting to be really bad was Catch Me If You Can. Just because Leonardo DiCaprio is in it, and I don't like him. But I thought the film was pretty good, and he was great in it. :)

Aw, it's alright. The best of us tend to ramble sometimes. And I'm proud to say after POTC, I watched Edward Scissorhands and fell in love with it. It's a great film. And no, I don't think Johnny Depp is hot. He's just an excellent actor.

I liked From Hell as well. The ending was so sad, with Johnny seeing the lassie who's name I've forgotten playing at cliffs with the daughter and then he dies and Robbie Coltrane closes then places 2 coins on Johnny's eyes for the fare across the River Styx.

I didnt see pirates of the caribbean at the cinema coz i thought it looked terrible, but loved it when i saw it on DVD.

i was expecting the girl next door to be terrible too, but i liked it, it's funny.

I forgot about that. That movie was really sad!

WE had to read that book in grade 5. It was really sad.

Is the movie just like the book?

Hrm.. Punch Drunk Love ... normally can't stand Adam Sandler but it was the first time I've seen him do a mature role.

I thought Princess Diaries two wouldn't be very good because I saw a preview of the scene with Raven and Juile singing. (I dont like the song much. Or Raven. But she does have a bit of a pretty voice and I have nothing serious against her. ) It had nothing to do with the plot, really. Besides that the movie was great. :D

-Lion King 1 1/2 was surprisingly good, considering the TV series stunk.
-I thought that Disney's Teacher's Pet wouldn't be that good either. Though the show is better then the movie, the movie has better songs.
-Prisoner of Azkaban was passable as well... They left out way to many things, and the actors they got to pick Lupin and Sirius were unspeakable, it was still worth going to. (Though the new Director seemed shippier then the fans in some parts...-coughLupinLilyRonHermionecough-)

Johnny Depp has always had his shreking girl fan clubs after every movie he was in. Including Edward Sissorhands, which he said, is exactly what he didn't want. Just watch what happens when Charlie and the Chocolate factory comes out.

And I never actaully understood the ending of From Hell...

I had heard so many bad things about it, but I actually liked it. The plot was so cool.

POTC definately.

I mean....it was inspired by a ride. I could only have so many hopes for it.

I ended up loving it. My siblings wanted to see it (youngest is ten) and being a PG-13 film, my mom naturally had reservations. So basically I was to scout ahead and report if it was suitable for the kids (and if it even worth the money). I came home raving about it. :D

Hmm..I suppose. Just seems to have exploded after Pirates Of The Caribbean. Gives girls around my age a bad name. :P

I know, but I do like the ending.

Just went to see "The Stepford Wives" yesterday and it was fantastic. The ending was really surprising and the revenge was good. I also liked Bette Midlers character, and her comment about what she would like to do with pine cones...
