I am starting to think it is Claire that will die. Boone just seems so obvious. But I love Claire and hope she stays alive. From the preview it looks like Kate is just walking to the Beach and happens upon Claire in the woods holding unto a branch in labour. It reminded me of the story of Buddha and also the story of Jesus in the Koran (both stories tell of the mother holding unto a branch to support themselves while they gave birth... kinda significant?)

Though they already had the story where we all believed Claire was dead. Twice! They need to leave Claire alone.

But if Claire dies, the baby won't be able to drink milk... Maybe some little coffee creamers from the plane survived... Or maybe baby Apocalypse doesn't need milk...

Don't die CLAIRE!!!! I hope it's another random again...

I highly doubt Claire is going to be the one to die (if anyone does).
Otherwise.. her whole backstory is total crap.
Her backstory was all about how SHE and ONLY her should be the one to raise her baby.. so to kill her off would make all that moot.

But then if she wasnt around it would still forfill Mr. Actual Psychic's prophecies and the baby would become evil, and then when the other Lost peoples would have to look after the baby and they'd notice bad things always happen where the baby is and it'll turn sorta LOTF and some people would be like 'kill the baby', 'its the reason why we're stuck on the island' and Hurley would be like 'numbers...numbers...numbers' and the others would be like 'no' and then they'd all kill each other and then Ethan 2 would take it away to his big black rock and train the baby in evil Sith powers.

If they really did say "No, WE'RE the survivors!" Then do you really think they would calmly say "Repeat transmisson." Wouldn't they be more like.. "Holy crap! I HEAR YOU!!!!" and start like.. screaming for happiness?

And if is was "There were no surivors...." they would've said it in a different way as well.

Whatever it said, it was still pretty creepy listening to it... it would just be extra creepy/freaky if it said the "We're the survivors...." line heh

Yay for no-Claire-death!

Kinda sad for Boone dying... but I guess I'm not THAT upset.

I think Claire will name the baby Boone. That or it will have an obscure significant meaning...

And I really thought that Jack's wife was gonna be revealed to have died in the crash. That would have been a tragic ending. I knew he was going to marry her, but now what happened to her?

No Canadian preview... hmm... American one looked REALLY interesting. Sayid shooting John... hmm...

If I had been alone.. I would've been bawling like a baby.
Right when jack said "i'm sorry" to Boone.... OMG it took everything I had to keep from sobbing.
I mean I didn't like the char Boone all that much but it was just so sad.

And I wanted to just smack Claire when she was resisting the help. Pregnant or not.. if I had been Kate I would've smacked her to get her to shut up so I could help her lol


But man man man..... Jack was very PO'd at the end of the episode.. and and.. the previews look all good and and and... nooooooooo season finale is getting closer which means no more new episodes for a while. And you just know they're gonna leave us at some totally awesome, pull ouot your hair cause you want to know what happens next, part!!!!

I didn't cry, because I saw it coming. In a magazine, Sawyer -- I mean, Josh Holloway -- pretty much spoiled it short of saying "The guy who dies' name starts with a 'B' and ends with an 'oone.'" I was prepared for this. What I wasn't prepared for was the prospect of Boone having his leg amputated by a sliding door, so I was squirming in my seat for a few minutes. Glad they spared us that.

Claire's had her baby...not much to say on that, except it doesn't look like a harbinger of doom...yet.

The ending was awesome with Jack going from somber to out-for-blood. And previews look like they're building up to something truly incredible. I really, really cannot wait for the next episode...Locke's going to have to pay the piper for what he did. Big time.

Oh I knew it was coming... unfortunatly.. I had gone to some other forums that had spoilers in them. Still was sad though
I remember one saying that the actor who plays the char that dies was extremely PO'd about it.

Jack is yelling at Bloodied-Shirt Locke and then gets so angry he tackles him. Sawyer fumes at Kate that he knows she's trying to steal his spot on the raft. And the grand finale...Sayid sports a pistol and shoots Locke.

Boone. How sad. I liked that guy.

I was really nervous for the amputation. I was ready to mute it and cover my eyes (after the freakin' leg-popping and Boone's screaming). I'm such a squeamish person.

Good episode, though. Definitely sad, but definitely pretty hopeful and interesting (what with the bloodthirsty Jack in the end). I am, however, upset that you actually see Locke getting shot in the preview. Like, literally, you see the smoke in his chest and Locke falling back. Oy.

Locke's gettin all crazy. I can't believe he didn't come back to check on Boone.

Very good episode though. Poor Jack. He's got so much baggage. I too would like to know where his wife is and why the heck John Stamos is hitting on her!!

Also, how in the world does a baby that ugly come from two people as attractive as Claire and Thomas? It looked like a bald, deformed monkey.

Does anyone know how many episodes we have until the season finale?

Well if they wanted to keep it really realistic! The baby would've come out with a lopsided head too.

It's just the way babies look when they're newborn. We don't get cute till a couple months! lol
