I dunno if they told Eliza but you would think they would try to drill into her head that AMI was the one saying that she (Eliza) didn't deserve to be in the game any longer. *shrugs*

It's one thing to say you wouldn't mind smacking someone, but to say you wanna hold someone underwater for 2 minutes??? I found that rather creepy.
I felt bad for Twila. Everyone was just ragging on her and getting all mad b/c she swore on her son. Big Whoopdido! Is all I have to say. They try to act all high and mighty and pretend like they've never lied in the game. Pulease.

Anywho.. tonight's was a good episode!

I am glad that Eliza stuck true, but I really cannot stand Scout or Twila either, so . . . let's go Chris/Eliza!

I can't believe Ami could go around and tell Eliza that she saved Elizas toosh. Considering that she was rooting for Eliza to be booted off the island.

I remember Elizabeth from Australia, she got super skinny too. And was voted off because of it. AND turned down allstars because she didn't want to be that unhealthy again.

There's a line where you can lie without reaching a limit or you cross it and do what Twila did. She swore on her son's life. That is unacceptable, you shouldn't do that and if you do, you better go through with it.

It's not that I like her or how she treats everyone. I like the way she plays. She's brilliant. She convinced the whole women tribe to vote her way after one conversation, that takes skill.

Twila=flat-out liar. If I were her son, I would be so mad at her, I wouldn't talk to her. Unless I got half of that million. Which she probably won't win anyway.
Eliza=backstabber. Or at least she traded the person she called her "best friend" for a chance for a million. Boston Rob didn't even do that at the end... it would've won him the million... although he did for Lex. But he really didn't say that Lex was his best friend.

Actually, I don't think that's what she did at all. First off, she never told Ami she absolutely, without a doubt, would NOT write her name down. She stayed indecisive to the very end. I think the reason she didn't vote for Scout was because that would have caused a tie, and the six of them (minus Chris) would have been forced to draw stones to see who gets kicked off. That would have been a really stupid move, because in a situation like that, ANYBODY can go. At least, by voting for Ami, she had some control over the situation, even if she didn't like it. And you can't say "Well, she sold out her 'best friend' for the chance at a million!" because it just doesn't fit. It's a game. The reason all of them are there is to play for a million dollars. They're not about to start doing favors for each other if it doesn't benefit them. That's just dumb. If the situation were reversed, Ami would not have hesitated for a second to vote Eliza out. Eliza voted the only way she could. *shrug* I don't think less of her for it.

I agree 100% with you, Ammer. If I went on the show, I'd definitely be willing to do a little underhanded dealing to get myself closer to the cash. It's nearly impossible to play the game completely legitimately, without lying at all. But words DO mean something, and if you swear on the life of a loved one and then go back on your word, that shows that you don't mean ANYTHING you say. How can you say you care about someone if you're willing to swear on their life, and then turn around and lie? That's really sleazy, and I agree with Ami, I have no respect for Twila now. (The thing that makes it even worse for me is she swore on his name, and then she emphasised it! She said "I swear on my son's life, and you know how much I love that boy". And how much, exactly, is that, Twila? You're willing to lie after giving your word on his life, after all.) I mean, yes, people lie, and it is just a game, but you have to draw the line SOMEWHERE if you want to maintain any sort of personal morality. I know personally, if I swore my word on the life of my husband or my parents or something, and then lied about it, I'd never be able to look any of them in the face again. That sort of thing makes me sick. To me, what Twila did is just as bad as that stunt Johnny Fairplay pulled about his grandma.

Again, I agree. She pulled the wool over almost everyone's eyes. It was really smart of her. The only reason I was getting sick of her was because she was calling all the shots, and it was REALLY boring. That's why I was so excited when Chris, Eliza, Scout, and Twila finally woke up and turned the tide of the game. But I have to say, I'm a little disappointed that Ami's gone now. All the drama is gone.

And the Finale is on Sunday! I can't believe it's ending already. And Survivor 10 is set in the pacific islands, there was a small entertainment news in between the commercials and the woman said they were in the midst of filming it.

I'd predict Julie to be gone next, but my predictions usually turn out wrong, and I'm really hoping that old alliance gets completely wiped off the board.
