Um... vinnie jones, unlike the juggernaught, isn't massive. he's hard as a nail, but he's not 7ft tall and doesnt weight 400kg

They can make him larger with a costume, and other various techniques. As for the height, platforms. Ha.

If I remember correctly, Juggernaut was actually Xavier's Brother? In the original cartoons, Juggernaut had a US accent regardless. Perhaps the casting of Jones is supposed to fix that.

Im not sure how they plan to explain the difference in regional accent, though. Patrick and Vinnie come from fairly different backgrounds, and no disrespect to the big man ( like I'd dare ), but his acting really isnt that impressive. Most of you will have seen him as the guy who doesnt speak right until the end in Gone in 60 Seconds. I always thought there was a very good reason for his lack of lines

Yes, Juggernaut is Xavier's brother. However, I'm not sure if they will put this in the movie. After all, Rogue is Wolverine's half sister. And she is also Night Crawler's half sister as well.

*shrugs*

And I hope his acting is at least decent. The X-Men series has had not had its share of bad actors yet, I hope he does well. For the sake of the series that is.

Comic Rogue isn't really Nightcrawlers half sister, anyway. In the comics, Mystique is Nightcrawlers mother and Rogues ADOPTIVE mother, so they aren't really related at all. Just figuratively.

Of course, like you said, that is all non-existant (or everything but the Nightcrawler/Mystique connection so far) in the movies.

Well, Sabertooth and Mystique had a baby together and it was Wolverine. I saw an episode for it in the old old series.

Mystique is Nightcrawlers mum and Rogue's adoptive mum.
Juggernaught is Xaviers HALF brother.

No, that was never ever in the old series at all. Sabertooth and Mystique's baby in the show/comics was Graydon Creed. He was the man that Mystique posed as in the first movie in the hellicopter with Senator Kelly. In the comics/show, he was an anti-mutant politician. He died.

Vinnie jones is much more a 'gangster-thug' type. Juggernaught embodies massive strength and unstoppable power. He'd need a WHOLE LOT of extra padding, and hair dye really. they should cast vin diesel.
