Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage

I've been stuck in a "rut" since last year where I feel like something is missing and nothing satisfies me, in short I just don't feel content. I can't think of what I can do and what I've done so far hasn't worked to get me out of the "rut" hence the cage bit in the lyrics.

Yeah, I know this probably sounds really random but that's it at the moment!

No doubt the song or lyrics that I can relate to will change later though...

Gives an idea of what song I feel best represents me. It's John Mayer's New Deep. Just holds true to a lot of the things I believe and thave learnt to become in life.

I think I relate to tons of songs really... but I think 'I Believe' (THE DIANA DEGARMO VERSION) is the best example. Every word of that song just makes me think of myself... it inspires me. I also think I can relate to 'Dreams' by DeGarmo, but not as much.
