Yeah I totally agree. Bruce Springsteen should totally have waited for the Working Class American people to start making millions before he wrote Born in the USA. And Joan Baez and Bob Dylan. They were always yapping about war and oppression and the most untimely moments. We totally could have waited for a moment of world peace before Blowing in the Wind came out. Ooooh, and CCR releasing Fortunate Son. Would it have killed John Fogerty to wait until after Vietname was done. Honestly! And Give Peace a Chance! Gosh darn it! John Lennon just came off all preachy. It would have come off so much better if he had waited until after we had already given peace a chance. How dare he write about current events while they're still, y'know, current.

Just my honest opinion. I mention it because a lot of people around me have been proud of themselves for listening to this "war music" and think that it makes them rebellious and cool.

That just makes them sad.

Greenday is ok...but their singles off American Idiot are WAY overplayed. And I'm sorry, but them singing "We are the Champions" at Live 8 was TERRIBLE. I was dying of laughter.

I have no place to make a judgement on that.
I hate boulevard of broken dreams. My radio station STILL plays it like...once a day at least.

The video is very long. The moment the song started, and went into the chorus, I changed the channel. I would rather listen to "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" than this song.
