Relient K isn't actual rock. It's punk rock.

:roflol:

I saw their clip on tv yesterday for the first time... Too whinny, sounds like emo to me.

Not that it's a terrible but Kaiser Cheifs - Everyday I Love You Less and Less got my attention. It's a wierd song.

:( How is it wannabe-rock? It's not *that* rock-ish... I don't get how it sounds emo either but I can't change your opinion. Just curious how you get that conclusion (also why I always like stuff everyone else doesn't).

Also - serious high five-age to DMie.

They were okay back when they were into Christian rock and stuff. Their lyrics were more clever, and they seemed less directed at impressing the MTV crowd. Now their music has become less original and impressive, seeing as it is just like any other pop/rock artist out there.

To me, musicians are far more interesting and respectable if they write their own clever music/lyrics and don't try to impress anybody.

Rofl. They can do both.

"Bouncing Off the Walls" by Sugarcult
"Fly" by Hilary Duff
"Dude Looks Like a Lady" by Aerosmith
"You Don't Send Me" by Belle and Sebastian

And I never thought I'd admit it, but "American Idiot" by Greenday. Boo.

I've even purchased it on Itunes...I guess I love it because it is perfect for someone with music ADD like I do. The rhythms and melodies change so frequently. It suits me fine, even though I heard my 10 year old sister loves it as well. >.<
