y'know, coming from a generation of kids that didn't realize that Greenday was a older band... I can believe this.

Aside to the ever popular Hotel California, I like Take it Easy. :)

I dunno, it suprises me b/c when I went to high school (and ones I know now) most of the kids listened to bands before our time, like pink floyd, the doors, led zepplin, etc. But then I've run across people who haven't heard of nirvana. So I guess it depends on how much you're into music.

And actually, being nine and listening to the Eagles is rather impressive. Most of the kids when I was that age wouldn't have known who they were. Heck, until I was 9 or 10 I thought Neil Diamond was the end-all be-all b/c my parents liked him. I think most people don't really start to get into music until they get a little bit older.

My favorite Eagles song is Seven Bridges Road, but no one that I know has ever heard that song, even if they do know the Eagles. :(

Uh, their greatest hits album is the best selling album of all time in the US.

That would've been my post, but oh well.
I happen to like Heartache Tonight and Hole In the World.
