Ack, I have to add - In My Life by The Beatles makes me *very* sad, even though I don't remember whether or not I've cried to it. We always sing it at my camp, I hate leaving.

Love is Blind by Eve

So sad :( I love it, but it hurts every time I listen to. I guess maybe I've got things in my life that connect with it. Anyways, Im sure most people have heard it before, but if you havn't download it.

The best one is "Songs to Aging Children Come" by Joni Mitchell.

Go download "Hear You Me" by Jimmy Eat World.

It's awesome, but sad.

Well guys, as my first post back here, I'm certain I'm going to get some weird looks:

My crying songs:

Bohemian Rhapsody- By Queen
The Bard's Song- By Blind Guardian
View From Heaven- By Yellowcard (that Believe song might have made me cry before, but now it just makes me determined and full of energy)

ok, weird ones now...

I Hate Everything About You- By Three Days Grace
Breaking the Habit- By Linkin Park
You for Me (or whatever the heck that song is)- remixed version by New Found Glory

Ok, so maybe they don't sound so weird, but I cry for weird reasons. I have never had a lost lover or anything like that, so if that's what you might think, it's not that reason.

Stellar - Incubus

It doesn't actually make me cry but it's so sweet. In that nice, Incubus Rocks sort of way.

High and Dry - Radiohead

In the song, Thom's voice and the instrumentals and the lyrics just struck a chord in my mind and the song itself is so freaking tragic. Actually, thinking about it now, a lot of Radiohead songs make me all sad and stuff.

Dishwalla - Counting Blue Cars

I have no idea why. I just started crying. It's totally not my fault.

Any song by the Beastie Boys.

Those were tears of laughter, not sadness.

Third Eye Blind - Motorcycle Drive By

That song gets me too sometimes...

From Autumn to Ashes "Short Stories with Tragic Endings"- Pretty long story about what happened during this song...But it's just such a depression song. (Espicially the last five minutes when the girl sings. Oh man, it's so beautiful.)

AFI "Morningstar" - Just because. I think it gets a lot of AFI fans. The first time I heard it I started bawling and I got the chills. O___O; Mostly because it was so lovely yet so sad.

Smashing Pumpkins "Disarm" - Beautiful, touching, depressing song. Reminds me of an old friend of mine.

Linkin Park "Breaking the Habit" - My mom got me the Meteora CD after I came back from the hospital for a suicide attempt, and this song just really got to me. Still does.

The Beatles "Elenor Rigby"- I love this song to death, and it's so very sad. That's all there is to it.

Jimmy Buffet "Margarittaville." No not because it's sad. It's a looonnng story between my best friend and I joking around about Jimmy Buffet. She recently moved to Florida, and a few days later I listened to this song and the tears just kept coming.

Any song by Strike 4- I don't even like Strike 4. (A local band with a couple of my brother's friends in it.) But my old best friend loved them, and I really miss her. Whenever I hear one of their songs it reminds me of the fun we had together...and how now we can never go back to that.

*sigh*

EDIT: Look at that...I'm now fossilized.

"Everybody's Fool" by Evanescence once made me cry. You see, I was a really mean person when I was younger and I listened to this song and I realised of the pain I was causing to others. It got to me. Till that day, I promised to be a better person.

Songs that make or made me slightly sad:

Graduation - Vitamin C
My Immortal - Evanescence
Pieces - Sum 41

Not much, eh? :P

"True" by Ryan Cabrera makes me somewhat sad. I have no idea why either... it didn't used to make me sad up until recently. If I listen to it enough in one day, my eyes will even start to water.
I still love that song though....

Savage Garden- Truly Madly Deeply

Goodness. I don't really cry in songs, but I do get emotionally overwhelmed sometimes when they have that perfect blend of relative lyrics and a tune that takes you on an instant high.

At the moment, Falling Away With You by Muse, Run by Snow Patrol, and Subterranean Homesick Alien by Radiohead all kind of give me that sensation. They all remind me of a certain someone. :}
