Last year when I woke up to find they lost Game 7 I punched the wall :P

I'm a violent person lol.

When they lost last year I was scared. ~:>

I was roommates with one of the biggest red sox fans I have ever known at the time. She was downstairs watching the game and I was upstairs following it on the gameday internet thing. When I saw that it was over, I put my computer away and hid under the covers pretending to be asleep. I was seriously in fear for my safety that night. In the end she came in crying and I survived the night unharmed, but it was still stressful.

What a roller coaster of emotions here ;-;

We tied up at 6 and three minutes later Sheffield hits a homer. *screams and dies* AND NOW WE'RE 11-6! This sucks.

I'm seriously beginning to think baseball is like wrestling and that the Sox are losing intentionally so that the rivalry will continue o_O :cry:

*goes off to scream some more*

Edit: Yankees are up to 13...

14-6 :(

I'm beginning to lose faith... no team has ever come back from a 0-3 start in the playoffs. It's only been done twice in professional sports (NHL, and in '42 and 70 something). So if we lose the stats are against us :(

Ouch. 19-8. That's gotta hurt.

Of course it does.

I'm going to the game tonight. I'm going to try to bring in a sign (although they try to confiscate them at the entrance) that says "2005". I'll be on the third base line, maybe you'll see me on TV.

I have given up. Last year they had karma but no talent; this year they have talent but no karma. Karma seemed to work a bit better. Maybe in 2005 they will have talent and karma. But Epstien has to re-sign Jason Vartiek.

I hate the Yankees.

My dad's friend's girlfriend works on the charter flight for the Red Sox, and she got me Varitek's autograph.

I've also lost faith.

Aww well. There's always next year. In the mean time... *gets out her Patriot's gear*

Lost Faith?? C'mon. Sure, its never been done before but you can't lose faith in your team!! Just got to keep cheering for them and hope for the best! YAY YAY

<hr>

Who saw that awesome Houston comeback game today?? Awesomeness, the series is all tied up now!

yeah, boston is the one team not to lose faith in. In game one they showed how powerful the can be when on. Vs any other team I(a die hard yankees fan :o ) coouldve breathed easy and called it a series after the 7th yesterday, but with boston, you never know :( Sure the only have a slim slim hope, but its better than most teams :P

Astros won again. Not sure my feelings there, I would much rather have them win the world series over the cards, but the yankees do better vs the big giant teams, as aposssed to the giant killers, thus they would fare better vs the cards :). So I dont really care.

I agree, he should :P

I'm not losing faith. I love my team, and I hope they'll win (or at least get to) the series before I die :D

scott a cheerleader? :roflol: Thats a scary though. :o .Besides, they thanksfully dont have cheerleaders in baseball. Just rally monkeys, Billy Goats and Yoppie(if the Expos get rid of him, I will cry for 24 hours :( ).

4-3 3 innings to go. 1 that matters if we get to Rivera :lol:

Mon Oct 18, 2004 5:29 am

>.< I'm not going to be a cheerleader!!!

But you know what? Look what happened. BOSTON WINS IN EXTRA INNINGS!!! SEE YOU TOMORROW!!! (except for those in the east coast, its See you today)

HAHA. YEAAAA-UH

3 - 1.

FWEEEE!!! Rivera's 8th blown save to the Red Sox! So much for feeling sorry for him. These games are the reason I keep the faith! :D

Schilling is going to pitch game six (if necessary, which hopefully it will be). I hope he does better then he did last game.
