Yes, I believe snowboarding is part of Olympic competition now. It began in Nagano, maybe? I can't remember for certain.

I'm looking forward to January and February. I'm going to be in sports overload. Australian Open (tennis), Winter X-Games, and the Winter Olympics! So very exciting.

My favorite Olympic event is waiting for the games to stop preempting my favorite TV shows, like Conan. I couldn't watch Late Night for over two weeks. By the way, few of you will remember this, but I think the Olympic Torch in 2004 looked like a giant cigarette.

Kurt Browning is 39 years old and hasn't competed in the Olympics since Lillehammer in 1994. I certainly hope that you're either kidding or you aren't holding your breath. ^_- He's a professional skater now, which means he does a lot of the casual (and more fun!) tours and competitions. Only amateurs can compete at the Olympics in figure skating. Back when a few professionals stepped back to the amateur level to compete in the Olympics, the judges frowned on it greatly.

*holds breath*
No, not at all...

*lets breath go*
I didn't know that, honestly. I'm not too good with all this skating stuff. I don't even know how to play baseball or what the rules are.
You hit a ball with a wooden stick. That's all I know.

I just like to watch the tricks, is all. :o

I usually don't watch the television that much while the Olympics is on but when I do I usually sit down to watch the Swimming (any type), Diving or Gymnastics :)

I don't normally watch the Olympics, but if I did, I would watch hockey during the winter games and swimming during the summer games.

I watched Chad Hedrick win the 5000M Speed Skating event. Who would have thought a Texan could win an event in the Winter Olympics? Kewl, huh!
