JK Rowling has finally updated her website!

http://www.jkrowling.com

Very interesting, but I'm having trouble finding the secrets... anyone found anything yet?

nope. just put your mouse around the site and see what moves. I love that site, the layout's got great taste and it's very nicely designed.

Well, it's ok...but I've never been to it before it got revamped :P

Ok these are the secrets:

1. On the phone, click 62442 then hit the green phone button
2. Links Page drag the book with a ? out of the way, drag the key to the little box on the right
3. On the Fan Sites page, drag the little 1 and 2 round medals into their boxes
4. On the Extra Stuff Page, drag the eraser around over the blank paper. Collect the 4 items on the paper and get another secret

All thats been found so far :)

I've never heard or seen of this website (I mean I know who she is, I just never searched for a personal website or anything). I'll go check it out...

Edit:

I was able to get 1, 2 and 3, but I can't find all the items for the 4th one. Are they hiding beneath things or are they just difficult to find?

Gah. I can't wait until we can open the 'do not disturb' door, even if I do already know what's behind it (someone on the MuggleNet forums hacked it; it's a book, though there's currently only filler text in it).

Edit1:

It's magic. ;)

(For those of you who don't get it/haven't read The Order of the Pheonix, I'm making a joke. The code to get into the Ministry of Magic for civilians is '62442', which, if you look at the numbers on a phone that stand for letters, means 'Magic'. JKR's a genius, isn't she?)

Oooh. I'm very proud of that secret, I was the second person (on the MuggleNet forums, at least; I'm Arachne) to figure that out... I had no idea how I had moved the book, though, until someone else told me. XD

Edit3 (Last edit, I promise!): What did you all answer on the FAQ poll? I wanted to know about Mark Evans, as I've wondered about him for months on end. My other reason for putting that was that Sirius is obviously dead (it's beyond me how so many people, especially his fangirls (die, foul beasts!) are in denial, and keep thinking he's going to come back- these books are dark, kiddies. Sirius died for a reason. Books six and seven won't be very good if they're about baby unicorns (my HP metaphor for happiness and joy), will they? No, I would think not.). And Snape is- duh- not related to Lily. If he was- quoting JKR on the 'Dumbledore and Harry related?- question, here- 'why would Harry be living with the Dursleys? Sure, muggles can't be Death Eaters, but don't you think the combined safety of Hogwarts, Dumbledore (the only person the Dark Lord has ever feared) and a relative would be safer than simply a relative? Of course it would.

And I hardly think Snape would allow Harry to grow up an egotist.

I've loved that site since the day it opened :D

What was she talking about though in the FAQ when she said someone 'opened' the door everyone is trying to open? Did I miss something? :o

This site is awesome. it kinda reminds me of the Series Of Unfortunate Events site, except this one is much better.

I still find it amusing that Rowling was ignored when she offered her opinions on the 7th book in a chatroom (obviously not saying who she was, as if they'd believe her anyway).
