Has anyone read these books? I've just finished reading Ashling for the third time, and I love it.

I'm going to read the 4th in the series again, once I find it in my room ^-^

ooh yes, isobelle camody ranks as one of my favorite authors! i've also started reading her darkfall series, i just wish she'ld actually finish a series first.. i also like scatterlings, its only 1 book, and its a short read, but its a typical comody story, try reading it, its not as dark as Obernewton, but presents the same comments on society and stuff.

i like the keeping place, because its long ;) and that child, you know with the red hair *its been 3 years since i've read this, serious* who is good at illusions? i know if i look at the book, but heads full of other stuff *shrug* shes my favorite character anyway :) dragon? i know she involves a dragon. :P

i just wonder if its perhaps too complex now for her to finish it all, it would be exceptionally sad if this turned out to a another wheel of time story which-never-gets-done... :(

Wheee, only just noticed someone actually replied ;)

If you mean the girl who was in a coma, her name was Dragon :) She, and Elspeth, are two of my favourite characters. I love the way she's set up the worlds, they seem so real, and I can see several veiled references to the current world of today, and the time of the 'Beforetimers'.

I hope she finishes the series - it's complex, but it would be a shame to see it stopped halfway through.

lol thanks for that, i'm in the middle of exams right now, so my memorys a bit fuzzy. plus i'm banned from reading until final exams are over, no library card, and not allowed within 10 paces of anythign remotely concerned with fiction/pleasure reading. and that includes my astronomy books can you believe :(

dragon is my favorite, and elspleth comes a very close second, its a bit because shes the main character, but i like her perspective too, shes very serious :)

(That doesn't sound like fun o.O)

Agreed. Elspeth has a wonderful perspective on them. I enjoyed reading about the leadup to hers and Rushton's relationship too, especially in Ashling. I love when the reader can see what's happening but the main characters can't ;)
