I always get a filetype that can't be opened when I download adblock for mozilla firefox. The filetype is .xpi

Open Fire fox
On menu at top, click on Tools
From Tools menu, choose Extensions.
In extensions window, click Get More Extensions
Scroll down to Most Popular Firefox Extensions and find Adblock.
Click on Adblock and choose Install Now
In Extensions window, click Install.
Once installed, retart Firefox.
It will be under the Tools Menu, or click on the adblock tab above any advert.
