This is tough to explain. For some text the color comes up as the complementary color of the intended color. Once I highlight the phrase it goes back to the intended color. How can I fix this? I took a screen shot of a good example (it's not all text just some).
Complementary color:

After highlighting the intended color comes back:

It almost sounds as if your stylesheets are messed up?
I'm not sure how to fix it though because I haven't used Firefox actively in many years. >_<

Tried doing a complete uninstall and reinstall?

Whoa that is definitely strange.
I'd go with what Lee suggested, a complete uninstall and reinstall.
For uninstalling, I use a program called "Revo Uninstaller" to completely remove all traces of a program from my computer.

Are colors inverted on sites other then Neo? Or is it present on all pages/applications and such you use?

It happens all over the internet, but not all the time, which makes me think it only happens when HTML or CSS is written incorrectly (You know with NeoHTML you can't up quotes around the HEX code)...it doesn't happen on the computer itself. On Photoshop it looks fine not opposite on the color chart or anything.

I'd just go with the reinstall. It might be easier.
OORRRR format the computer!! You will feel so fresh afterwards.

I'm sorry to bring this back up again but I've scoured the net and this was the only other person I could find with this problem. I have had this error for a long time. Reinstalling Firefox does absolutely nothing for me. In IE and other browsers this isn't a problem but I don't like IE for various reasons (main one being that it renders sloppy code as fine making lazy coders).

Out of curiosity, have you fully uninstalled firefox, including manually deleting the "C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Application Data\Mozilla" and "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" directories after the auto uninstall?
I wonder if something in there may have become corrupt. After an uninstall (and before re-install) it is possible that one of the bad files has remained... If that doesn't solve the issue, you may need to do some registry diving.
A tutorial is here:

I had done more than just
uninstalled. I've formatted several times (not due to this problem however, just general maintenance) and installed fresh. Anyway, this problem wasn't only happening in Firefox for me. I checked a few web pages in IE to check compatibility when I noticed it happened there too. Also I wouldn't bother with the registry if an F disk didn't solve it.
Anyway, good news! After bit of searching (as I wasn't quite sure how to phrase the problem) I found a fix. The problem is due to my ATI Catalyst driver. I solved it by turning off font smoothing. There are more options here:
