LiveJournal Coding...completely clueless I be

Ok, I've decided, after much debating with myself, to make a livejournal. it'll probably not work, but hey. I've only coded xanga layouts so when I got to the page I stopped dead. I have an image and a background, and the little boxes in the image would be image mapping and java mous-over's into the space beside. I can work that out myself, it it can be done in LJ, but I need a base coding.

Can anybody code:

I'm so sorry, You've shown me you're diary aswell!! I was looking up ballerina images on google, seriously, I started out wanting black and white retro pictures, then geisha pictures, then ballerina pictures!!!!
Awwwwwww, I'm evil >_< You know I am. I'll change it if you want.
