It makes you wonder..
These formerly spectral, currently mutant beasties that have been living in the equivalent of 60 or so years ago.. Where did they get their hands on those H4000 helmets?
Surely they should be restricted to clubs or stuff that deal less damage?
(It'd make them easier to beat :D )
I feel sorry for bruno, though.. I think he's doomed..

It does seem rather odd to me that if they're doing two or three plots a year they can't seem to keep ahead of the server lag issues. I mean, I can't believe the growth has been so exponential as to have caught them totally off guard.

I am, of course, enjoying the plot - but I agree that having to wait a minute for each turn really cuts down on my enjoyment - if they knew ahead of time they were going to have this much trouble (and the editorial seems to imply that they did...) then it seems odd they haven't looked into an alternate way of running the battledome (perhaps something that doesn't demand a submit every turn - like...I don't know - flash...)

I've submitted a battledome in flash for TNT job application... (flash program is required to apply) no return call from them yet... I do really hope that I can join TNT...

but I don't think converting that many weapons to flash database would be easy...

Well, this round will probably be the last for me. I haven't been able to fight YET due to lag. I should be able to beat Herman Dorfdrap, and if I'm VERY, VERY lucky, Bennie the Jub. But there's no way I'll be able to defeat the Disgruntled Townspeople (oh well, too bad). So, good luck to all of you who have high stats!!! Kick some serious heiney! :D :D :D :D

I am sure that everyone on here already knows this but it is good info... Posted by dirtside aka Mr. Insane on the neoboards.

Normally we don't respond to posts about the plot (so don't expect me to do this again), but the Battledome's pretty slammed, and apparently a lot of players think that losses will count for something. They don't, not against puny challengers such as these. So if you can't beat 'em, there's no point in fighting 'em.

Hmmm, I thought that would have gone without saying! Anyway, thanks, that certainly will help those who didn't know that.

P.S. I can't get the Elton John song "Bennie and the Jets" out of my head!!! :P

Just a random question, but does anyone have images they saved of each of the challengers so far? I would like to look at them.

I also thought that it was something that didn't need to be said... But a lot of people on the neoboards seemed surprised (newer players mostly). So I thought I would pass it along. If it keeps a couple people out that shouldn't be there then maybe the stronger guys will be able to get in a little more often.

when I was at my first war I thought lose points against spectre of darigan get points or something :P

So, the castle that Gilly ends up at kind of reminds me of Eliv Thade's castle...does anyone else think that as well? o_O

Maybe the war isn't the end of the plot...that would be wonderful, considering that I can't beat the bad-guys anymore...

If they make us play Castle of Eliv Thade...*shakes fist at TNT* DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! But yes, the building does look like Eliv Thade's castle, doesn't it?

What I'd like to know is:
+What happens to Krawley? Does he go in with Gilly?
+Why aren't we beating up zombies? Taking down townsfolk is nice and all, but the zombies shouldn't exactly receive any mercy either.
+How in the heck did Gilly take down those trees?
+WOW Gilly is strong! She should be taking out the townsfolk, not Bruno!

perhaps we would beat the zombies next

AAGGGH!!! That song is so annoying! I mean, it's musically good, but once you hear it it will NEVER LEAVE.

Back on topic though, I think we will have to fight Krawley as a boss. I just hope we haven't seen the last of Ilere. She was kewl.

I also hope the plot doesn't end after the battle - I'd like some more (difficuld preferably) puzzling in... as it goes pretty much anyone can have completed all the steps thus far and I want a challenge!!
