Thankyou Sylence. :)

Yes, it is a great feeling and a relief that when a new clue is released I can move on straight away.

Congrats to all those who have got to this point. :)

And Good Luck to all those still trying. :)

you know.. I wonder where the PPL is..

they appeared for that stupid petpet in Altador.. where are they now?!

This poor Meowclops is being tortured to death!

-thinks the PPL needs to investigate nodslots-

and I am glad yer caught up as well, way to go hon -smiles-

It's obviously a magic meowclops, it recovers very quickly from any magical effects, like in Sophie's Stew...

On a side note, does anyone still have the url of the Sloth-Meowclops?

I am not a science/math person whatsoever. And when I saw this part of the plot I just about died. So, I have to thank two people who created petpages that helped me get to the end, and undoubtedly helped others do the same. They could have spent their time making neopoints and keeping their info to themselves, but instead they shared it with the rest of us. So I am grateful. And this is why I love this silly game so much. Yes, there are scammers and schemers throughtout Neopia, but if you think about it, there are so many more users out there who help each other out. And they get no rewards for doing so. The people who created these fabulous petpages are: caliborn_carrier with their step by step instructions on their petpage for SierraSea and crickeetbug, with a chart of ingredients' effects on their petpage for the_cenial_one. Thank you both so much for saving me hours of work and for allowing me to keep what little hair I have left on my head instead of pulling it out. :)

does this help?

I agree with Morningstar. Those people who spend time to work these things out and post them are really great. If any of them are reading this, thank you!

I unfortunately am not usually to good at figuring out the why of how things work, I just muddle through. However, if I can ever help, I am more than willing to.

I am not the best with things either, but now that I am caught up and numerics are making sence I love that I am able to help people.. its nice to be able to give back a bit -snugs on ya'lls-

I couldn't have even tested things out without the neoboards that were systematically going through things and had everything spelled out. I am really thankful for everyone who spent the time figuring out the math of it all as well!

Ok I am going to give you guys the easy way to solve all of the individual formulas.

If you are not at stage 5 you can use the crushed jurpleberry method. Check out any chart for which properties you need. Jurpleberries have the property that each thing that you do to them raises only one stat to a max of 180.

This site has both the chart and the method : http://www.neopets.com/~sierrasea

But I will restate it. Take 1 (or 3) gram of Jurpleberries. Then take another and another and another until you have enough jurpleberries to make up the weight of the potion. Then follow the following:

For enchantment burn them until you get your desired number
For conjuration crush them until you get your desired number
For divination soak them until you get your desired number
For power dessicate them until you get your desired number

If you need a combination...say enchantment and power then burn the berries and then dessicate them.

This works very well once the jurpleberries are available.

However this is not enough for the last step where it asks you for +300 and the jurpleberries go up to only 180.

This is where baabaa wool really helps. Just choose the method does not have a -1200 penalty for either of the stats.

For enchantment burn, crush, or soak to the max (dessicate will cause a -1200)
For conjuration burn, crush, or dessicate to the max (soaking will cause a -1200)
For divination burn, soak, or dessicate to the max (crushing will cause a -1200)
For power soak, crush, or dessicate to the max (burning will cause a -1200)

As an example if you needed a 300 in divination and power you would want to crush or dessicate the wool.

If you want to figure it out the long way I suggest setting up an excel spread sheet. So for instance if you want to use 4 different ingredients each of three grams you can set up the excel this way:

A B C D
1 Ingredient Stat#1 Stat#2 Grams
2 #1 ### ### 3 ^
3 #2 ### ### 12^^
4 #3 ### ###
5 #4 ### ###
6 Total * **
7 Final + ++

* the formula should be =(b2*d2)+(b3*d2)+(b4*d2)+(b5*d2)
** the formula should be =(c2*d2)+(c3*d2)+(c4*d2)+(c5*d2)

+ the formula here should be =b6/d3
++ the formula here should be =c6/d3

^ this is the number in grams of the ingredient
^^ this is the total weight of all ingredients combined

### This is resulting number from the chart mentioned above.

Personally I used the first method and prefer it.

I bet TNT had a great laugh at the lot of us trying to work out those 3 step 5 combinations. I'm ALSO willing to bet they thought PS and PM were going to be discovered MUCH quicker that IP considering that they're that much easier. LOL. I'm so glad you PM and PS found out your concoctions though. I was worried for a while. Congrats!

Hi there

Can someone please help me with my last composite? I really can't figure it out :( Thanks :)

Quantity: 5 grams
Relevant property: Conjuring
Target value: +300 +/- 1
Relevant property: Power
Target value: +300 +/- 1

Hi everyone...
I'm soo stuck at level 3. I know I'm slow, but I really can't figure out what's wrong. I hope one of you guys can help!

I need: 12 grams, Divination: 80 +/- 3, Power: 83 +/- 3
I got: 9 grams, Divination: 55, Power: 84
I still need: 3 grams, Divination: 105, Power: 82
Then I used the Jurpleberries: 3 grams, Divination: 105, Power: 82

But for some reason I keep getting this message when I tried to combine them: You can't add any more ingredients to that composite, or it might become unstable and explode!. What's wrong?

Use Babaa Wool. Here is somewhere that WILL help you. :)

Edit: FYI, you can either crush or soak Babaa Wool completely to get it.

I'm not sure if this is right, but I think you can only add a maximum of 5 seperate lots to a composite

Edit: Thanks, I've been trying it with the babaa wool, but I keep getting it wrong. I'm not really clear about what I should be doing :/
