Are you cooking our PPT mascot? Was this your plan all along -- to freeze poor old Arrow and serve him to people who never knew and appreciated him, who will devour him with great gusto? If it was, then why ... I feel ashamed for not realising why you were fattening and freezing the chicken. You must have a grudge against the poor bird to want to dish him up.

But I, like many others, do love Arrow. You must not, cannot cook our Arrow! What would we do without our chicken? He is an emblem of PPT. He symbolises everything we are. How will we ever manage without him? What can we use to say welcome new members ("Arrow welcomes you!" becoming "the rock welcomes you!"?!), to honour and uphold, to cry out with joy and pride, "This is what we are!" (A bunch of chickens.)

If our pleading and reasoning will not convince you, then perhaps this will:

I'll let you have it known that eating chicken at this time is a health hazard. An outbreak of bird flu is expected at any moment. I should know, for we keep having to go without chicken every few months. The World Health Organization has warned that if chicken flu (or avian flu, as it is also known) mutates and breaks out likes Sars last time, a sixth of the world's population will die. You wouldn't want to be held responsible for the lives of a billion people (my life probably included as well), now would you?

Please reconsider the consequences of your actions, and remember that there will be great mourning throughout the whole of PPT should you sincerely decide to annihilate our beloved mascot, Arrow.

Yours sincerely,

Lillie

Fools. You don't realise that the Arrow you love is not what you think! Truth is, every month, Arrow is shipped off to Chicken Fast Food Burger Chains, and replaced with a new, almost exactly the same chicken. After all, how many times can a chicken be frozen, cooked for Thanksgiving, murderfied and terrorised, and live to tell the tale? Not that Arrow can talk, but...

Just to assure you, the "Arrow" used in the Arrow on the Rocks is that nasty "chicken" stuff that was once in Mc Donalds McNuggets. The name Arrow is just a marketing gimmick ;)

I assure you, it all depends on your outlook, perspective and beliefs in life. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Which came first, the bow or the arrow? Is this arrow that arrow?

You mean that stuff that they claimed was chicken, but we all knew it wasn't? ;)

Arrow on the Rocks...wouldn't that be non-cooked? err...a raw Arrow? gross.

You know, it took me the LONGEST time to figure out what Arrow was.

That reminds me of a time my friends and I were being odd and we came up with a slogan for something - "Sushi on the rocks, shaken not stirred"

Don't ask me. o_O

Nooo... the "chicken" is prepared (however you cook that nasty stuff) and then served chilled on ice. ;)

I thought Arrow on the Rocks was a drink? o_O

I believe Arrow on the Rocks would be Arrow with ice. Don't ask me how I know that, even I don't know.
