Moving from New Members to PPT Discussion. 
I'm afraid I have no clue as to where you can find a PPT template. If you mean the style of the forums, I think they're available from phpBB but I really don't know.

Many times you can find them from the Microsoft website. There should be a link in your Powerpoint window saying "More templates/backgrounds/whatever", or something like that. If you want ones not on there, you might find some by googling Powerpoint Templates.

Though wouldn't the large number of non-powerpoint related signs give them some clue?

Aye, on google we're about 14th on the list when you search for PPT. I was wondering about the Powerpoint addition at the top.
Just a few more links, a google bombing here and there, and we'll top the search for PPT.
On the same note, something like this was always at the back of my mind, like that feeling you get when you know you forgot something, then go OMG! I JUST LEFT THE KEYS IN THE HOUSE!
Cue the NRMA/security company/locksmith/1845 blacksmith coming around to unlock it for you, and you have something that's completely off topic.
