locked conversations

I have really enjoyed my time here at PPT, but the moderators are WAY to LOCK happy. 
They lock everything! So, I probably won't be back.
Edit: I obviously changed my mind. There are some 'too happy locking' mods out there, but most of it did build up over time. It was disheartening to read through a message thread and not be able to add to it. I now LOOK to see if it's locked b4hand.

Please could you give us some examples as to threads you found have been locked unjustly?

Mm.. you must remember that locked topics can pile up and happen over a long period of time. A lot of topics also get locked because people make new threads for a subject that's already got its own. Some other topics that are locked are like those in this board because the question has already been answered.
But what Matt said, please give us some examples of threads you think were unfairly locked and we will take a look.
