I think it is because it is a vanity page. A member of PPT (or a PPTer) cannot make the article. Someone else (not from PPT) has to, to give it a neutral POV.

Uhh, didn't I do a Chistmas template at one point - I'll dig it up and get the screenshot for the neodex

I seem to remember a red background with green pine trees as well as our Christmas 2002 template.

That was our template from Christmas 2002 though I can't remember who made it despite the fact I joined PPT in 2002 when we were using YaBB. I remember our Christmas 2002 template having snowflakes coming down.
