Dogs definitely 
I had one when I was 5, but she was hit by a car when I was in 2nd grade.
But we're getting a new one on Tuesday

Dogs.
I adore hamsters also, but they're just too small to really be able to be enjoyed as dogs can be.

I like cats the best. They cost less to take care of, more playful, less agressive, and you don't have to worry about them slobering all over things like dogs do.

I love my cat, she's the stupidest animal on earth but she's really funny to watch. Dog's are just plain smelly.

I love both cats and dogs, but I like birds, rabbits, and corn as well. Unfortunately I've never had a cat, but we're going to get a dog once my baby sister (13 months) is older.
