I'm rereading Choke before sending it off to Spira.
I need to save up some money and go to the bookstore, though. I've run out of new and unread books. :/

*Tries not to squee at the number of people reading Anne McCaffrey*

Technically I'm supposed to be reading Soldier of the Great War, but the chances of me finishing that by tomorrow are slim and none.

The book I'm REALLY reading is Ogre, Ogre by Piers Anthony. (I'm re-reading the Xanth series)

Ugg, I started to read 1984, but I just didn't have the attention span to continue...I was atleast 40 pages in, and the plot had JUST started to be born.

I really need to get around to reading Ender's Shadow - I've had a number of people tell me it's a good read, but I've always been too busy to get around to it.

There are maybe 10 Ender books now, and you should read them in the order published. They jump back and forth all over the timeline but its worth it as the story becomes more complex.

Ender's Shadow is an easy one to read first...I read Ender's Shadow, Shadow Puppets, then went back to Ender's Game and read them in order and they made perfect sense. I think the only problem would be starting on Xenocide or Children of the Mind...they were hard enough to get into even knowing the storyline. =P

Start with Ender's Game. =P But I like Ender's Shadow better....you COULD read Ender's Shadow, Shadow of the Hegemon, Shadow Puppets, and THEN go back to Ender's Game...or just start at Ender's Game, if you prefer to read in order and be boring. =P

(And Christopher, just looking back...how'd you come up with 10? I can only think of 7, am I missing something, or was that just a number you pulled out of the air?)

...Cassi, stop confusing me.

I think I'll just go in order :P

...Would I ever do such a thing?

In order always works. Want a list, or can you find it yourself? =P

Children of the Mind

Ender's Shadow
Shadow of the Hegemon
Shadow Puppets

Author is Orson Scott Card, if you missed that or if we haven't said that. =P

I just finished a great book called The President of Good and Evil, a politics book analyzing (very impartially, I might add) the morals that guide President Bush's life. Right now I'm reading Catch-22 (by Joseph Heller) and La Casa de los Espiritus (by Isabel Allende), both for school. For fun, I'm reading Terry Pratchett's Thief of Time and Lords and Ladies. Terry Pratchett is a genius.
